GT5' A Year Away, $100 For "Full" Game?

A year from now, or whenevea GT5 comes out, no one will even care about the $40. Most of the guys on here are just nitpicking. I would rather pay $40 for a game vs $60 any day. How many people bought 2 and 3 360's instead of sending the 1st or 2nd one back? How many people wasted money of XBLA game, when they already had the game?....Castlevania. How many people have a Wii and download from the VC?

The point that i'm trying to make is that, most people complain about buying a game twice, when everyone does it.

Yes, no matter how you spin it, Polyphony/Sony are milking their customers. This is more than a demo but less than a full game. Its content will be included in the full release in a year. However, no one is forcing you to buy Prologue, so to call it a $100 game is a bit unfair because it's not as if you have to play it to get the full experience. If you love GT and can't wait for GT5 and you get Prologue, then that's fine, just realize that what you spend doesn't count towards the real thing.Jack_Bauer07

You don't get the Madden demo only a year early, and how long did you play that demo for? I'm sure I'll be playing Prologue alot longer than that :D

if your using that logic then thats not so good. i have been playing the Skate demo since it came out... and its free. i have gotten more gaming hours out of the skate demo than some retail games.

so if you look at my example, i have been playing this demo for months and months for free, while people pay to play the GT5:p demo

Because now a Prologue cost as much as a full game did before... $40 is a lot to spend for a demo of a game over 1 year away...

Whats the problem? Does it hurt you so much that we are buying this game? Does it make you lose nights the fact that we actually enjoy this? Does it make you curse all the day that fact that we are going to be buying the full game next year, even if we bought this? You dont even know what GT5P has and you think that its only useful to race, thats just wrong mate. We get money, and then we can transfer it to GT5, we are not playing this game from a achievement point of view for nothing. What we do here will be transfered to GT5, so we will be having a headstart also.

If you want to wait, then wait. But dont come back later crying because a new delay arised. Cause we GT vets know that Poly takes a long time to finish GTs.
