Any racing enthusiast knows FM2 was superior to GT5:P in pretty much meaningful way, FM3 is just going to make it look silly.

Sure whatever helps you sleep good at night. GT5 will score hgher and sell better then Forza 3. I can guarantee that.
Sell better? Yeah. Score better? That's impossible to know. FM3 will be difficult to match, if FZ2 is any indication.Sure whatever helps you sleep good at night. GT5 will score hgher and sell better then Forza 3. I can guarantee that.

[QUOTE="IronBass"]GT5 will destroy it sales-wise, though.JandurinWhy? Because the GT series sell, and sell, and keep selling.
Because the GT series sell, and sell, and keep selling. IronBassa lot of that had to do with the PS2 being so far in front.
what makes you think the demo doesn't comprise the majority of future sales? You doubt.Because the god damn DEMO sold 3 freaking MILLION units!
What 360 fans need to stfu with all the Forza 3 > GT5 thing. I doubt that Forza can handle GT5
rogerjak
Since when was GT5 finished? so far all we have got is a glorified demo, so forza has destroyed nothing

So now people admit they bought a demo. Finally.Forza 2 sold nearly 4m, GT4 sold almost 10m, GT5 Prologue sold 5m (and it's just a big demo)double_heisthaha, exaggeration ftl. GT5: P didn't sell 5 million, unless you have a link

what makes you think the demo doesn't comprise the majority of future sales? You doubt.Simple : I see people going crazy wanting GT5 all around. Even friends of mine that don't like car games wat this game like there won't be more games in the future.Because the god damn DEMO sold 3 freaking MILLION units!

and? We already know GT's approach and that is why its going to fail against Forza.Since when was GT5 finished? so far all we have got is a glorified demo, so forza has destroyed nothing

well tell me this approach, and why its going to fail
anecdotal. My friends don't even own PS3s because they're overpriced. The one that does uses it for MGS4 and plays his 360 when he wants to game.Simple : I see people going crazy wanting GT5 all around. which other quality racing games were PS3 owners going to buy at the time of Prologues release? in fact there were barely any quality PS3 titles at all until MGS4 release. I think PS3 owners need to stop pretending GT is the best racing game ever and realise how much less time its taken to make Forza 3, its embarrassing. I think Turn 10 deserve some credit.[QUOTE="rogerjak"]Because the god damn DEMO sold 3 freaking MILLION units![QUOTE="Jandurin"] Why?marklarmer

they are going for realism and realistic insane graphics while not putting much effort into the gameplay as Forza has done for years. Sims are boring and I play video games for fun.I like how Forza 3 went away from your typical race tracks and looks like they are doing their own unique tracks.; that automatically makes it win for me.
[QUOTE="IronBass"]Because the GT series sell, and sell, and keep selling. Jandurina lot of that had to do with the PS2 being so far in front. That is honestly the most silly argument ever. PS2 could have sold 1000 million but it's sales without have shooted to a 100 milion cuz there is only a set no. of people that are going to be interested in a particular game.
According to your logic no game has ever sold relatively well on the DS or ps2.
[QUOTE="double_heist"]GT4 sure gots high sales. And 3m sales for a big demo that sells at the price of an actual, that's pretty... Wow. Forza's sales look good to though.JandurinTrue enough. It's a good game, I just don't know if GT5 sell as well on a console that has 1/6th of the userbase. As far as we know, GT5 Prologue is indicative of total sales for the full game. Why would Prologue's sales be indicative of the total for GT5 when neither GT4 prologue or any of the GT Concepts sold anywhere near the amount of the full games?
Edit: We should really put off any threats against GT5 before we actually like, see it. If it doesn't show at E3 however, go nuts, it's probably a trainwreck but come on -- only a couple of hours left until Sony's presentation. Can't this thread wait a bit?
Just wait lemmings :)akira2465
It's funny how the 360 is getting its second Forza game this gen while the PS3 is still waiting for its first.
