You can rest assured, when the final version of Gran Turismo 5 arrives majority of negativity towards probably the most realistic driving simulator is going to stop.
Polyphony Digital has been in the market with GT franchise before anyone even realised it's possible.
There is a reason why it's the most sold Sony franchise, over 54 Millions.
You can call GT5 Prologue a demo all day long, those who have the game certainly have much different opinions. You name me a demo that has fully integrated 16 players online racing, the revolutionary dashboard in-car view and car psychics with over 80+ licensed cars.
Take a good look at Forza 2 details and try to say GT5 is a demo again...
Try to be rational and wait until you see what full release of Gran Turismo 5 has to offer. After that, make your judgements. I already know some details from my sources. If you though 400 cars in a lot, you haven't seen GT5 yet.
Time will show that Gran Turismo is more then capable of competing for #1 racing simulator. In fact, I have yet to see a game in scale of Gran Turismo offerings to car enthusiast.
Forza 3 looks good and I hope it does well. However, the absurd level of fanboys sometimes seriously makes me wonder how some people even call themselves gamers...
