I'm no fanboy or anything, in fact I own Forza 2, but the cars in Forza 2 just looks like cartoons and computerized polygons compared to the realistic cars in GT5.

I mean when I was watching the GT5 trailer I couldn't tell if it was real life or not, because it looked so good. When you look at Forza 2 you can tell it's computer graphics.

Sorry bud, but this post makes you sound like a very casual fan of racing games.

Forza is known to hardcore fans for it's amazing AI, physics, customizations, and overall unmatched realism in gameplay.

GT has always been known for it's looks, and if PD continue to place looks in front of physics and other options then it will continue to be the "sim for casuals".

IF GT can look like that in a full game with all the realism in physics and damage and gameplay as Forza, then I will go back to being a huge GT fan.

I just get the impression PD is more concerned with looking the best rather than playing the best. Time will tell.

i dunno i remember it being gt4 on ps2 that was able to recreate track time vs real life with in a few seconds if even that.

now were going to the ps3 which is infinitely better at calculating physics and what not.

it will only get better. just need to tweak the controls a bit from gt4 but i think it will be better.

dont worry about it, gt has always been known as a realistic car sim. it did a good job of that especially on ps2 hardware.

damage has been confirmed for race models only so far.

but i have a feeling that w/ the downloadable content coming it will be changed once they figure out how to do it as realistic as possible as opposed to forza2 w/ its generic damage
