Ignoring the fact that they have mentioned damage will become a reality at some point, I think its funny that everyone says it has no realistic physics when the game is racing not chicken. In my experience the physics of the actual driving is perfect, which i would of thought, should be the most important thing.

i know its getting dents but forza damage pwns it itll have to more than get dents to convince me to buy it after i get my 40gig ps3

So as you all can see in sale GT3> Final Fanyasy, Halo, GTA, METAL GEAR, MARIO, ZELDA, and all other single released title from any console from the last generation, and no game in this generation has surpassed its sales-

HALO will not because, since december the 360 has been stuck at 11 million (shipped)-- the 11 million is a lie though as recent international figures shows the 360 true install base is 9 million plus.

The only game that could be the first in this generation to beat GT3 sales is GTA4, thats because it on 2 platforms- apart from that game GT5 is the only other game that will pass 15 million in sales, and could again be the highest selling game franchise till the end of this generation.

while true the real question is GT5 an actual system seller? because it came out when the ps2 had a very very large install base so its kinda hard to tell how many actually bought a ps2 to play it, it might have just been the huge install base of the ps2 making it sell well. We are going to have to wait and see.

ff13 will def sell a lot of ps3s but could u imagine if the ff7 remake rumors were true? ud see maybe the biggest spike in sales of a console in history, it might take over the wii in japan for a few months and itd definitely blow right past the 360 no joke. that game would make me buy a ps3 but theres a few other reasons in the future as well

How on earth is Gran Turismo 5 not a system seller? Gran Turismo was the first system seller for the playstation brand, and anyone who denies it's relevance today is either a fanboy or sorely misinformed.

Would sound about right wiki has it a 8,7 million sold not sure if it be right but i remember it being at 6 million after a few months so 8.7 sounds about right.
