[QUOTE="-RocBoys9489-"][QUOTE="xscrapzx"] Dude this is like saying that Braid has done more for platforming games then Mario and Sonic have. Please just stop.xscrapzxWe're talking racing games here. You have a good argument there, but I fail to see it with racing games. Why would I want to play GT3 over Forza 2? :? The argument is not about what you would rather play. The argument of which one was more critically acclaimed and you have to give that to GT because it is more known, it has been around a lot longer and it was the first to really pull off the racing simulation. Forza came out after and no doubt is a great game and could (*could is the special word there) eventually surpass GT as far racing simulation games go in the future. As of right now if you are saying which is more crictically acclaimed and more popular GT has the edge. Of course GT is more popular, but with the release of Forza 3 VERY soon and the fact that GT4 came out I don't even know how many years ago, I think GT is losing much of its popularity this gen, thanks in part to the time GT5 has taken to release, and the lower PS3 install base. Forza 3 could outsell GT5, a slight chance I think. Polyphony needs to step up their game and actually compete with Turn 10, they've been getting ****ed this gen.
If I had to choose, I'd choose after they were both released.pyromaniac223This.. As of now, Forza 3 because not only is it coming out sooner, it's proven to be the better series. However I have a feeling GT will put a really good fight, it's just a matter of when now.
If you consider how late Forza entered (right after GT4, which sucked imo), it's more critically acclaimed.Metacritic -

gt5, because it looks like a next-gen game in motion
on the other hand forza3 imo looks like a ps2/wii game in high-def

Thank you! I'm at a loss with some people here... PDZ was AAA in Nov. 05 because it had very good online to accompany the new Xbox Live but it's time to move on folks. Standards go up every year and PDZ would probably be A if it released today.I find funny how in these forums, launch 360 games are useless and old and ppl are using GT1, 2 and 3 to compete with Forza2 scores!

i think people are going too far with forza3, i have a 4 year old gpu in my closet somewhere right now that can display racing games in much higher res, textures, etc.
this is why your games flop all the time, stop hyping someting that has been done looooong time ago.

No problem. You should know you will go nowhere if you try to make a pro 360 point here :?

i really cant figure it out, it looks like any avarage racing game, even the strongest area of the game which are the graphics dont really have nothing special either.

Well, graphics are great and like everyone who played the other Forza games for sure know, gameplay is awesome
the only racing game that actually makes you say wow, is gt5p, and gt5 is going to be even better.
look at the difference betwen fm3 video i posted to this video of Gt5p:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83svHF1lK5U&feature=related
gt5p almost looks like real life in motion, so while you people drool over still pictures with 20000000000000000 billion textures on screen ill be playing someting that looks and plays real in motion.
[QUOTE="Nonstop-Madness"][QUOTE="-RocBoys9489-"] Cool? That's too bad for you I guess. You Sony fans always say bout how Europe is "Sony land"-RocBoys9489-Its to bad a AAA franchise (Forza) cant outsell a "AA" franchise (GT). The US has a larger userbase than Europe anyways. PS2 has an install base of 120 mill. PS3 has an install base of 24 mill. You REALLY are that confident GT5 is going to outsell Forza 3? and 360 has 120 mill user base?

Sure, when discussing GT vs Forza, this applies. But when its a Killzone vs Halo debate, the fact that all Halo games outscored Killzone 2, both as a whole and each individually, suddenly the scores of those "older" Halo games don't count. Older Halo games can be subjected to "score deflation" of time, but GT3 is a 9.3 foreveeeeeeeeeeeer :roll:

Played every GT up to and including GT5P, and recently purchased Forza 2. Without a doubt I'll take GT5, the only way Forza will reach the same plateauas GT is if MS drops Turn10 & hires a talented studio. The only thing FM2 has over GT4 for PS2 is it's un-realistic damage and the dress-up ripped right off from NFS.
