Gran Turismo is a better game, both in terms of gameplay and sales. I own both Forza Motosport titles.

It also has 4d graphics and real time gear shifting. It should be awesome.

We can then compare the Forza review to that of Forza 2 (May 29 2007), where it recievd a 9.2 out of 10. Because of the rising standars of gaming, Forza 2's 9.2> Forza 1's 9.2, meaning Forza 2 is a better game. And because Forza 2> Forza 1, Forza 2 must be significantly better than GT4. Not only is that my opinion, but it is backed up by reviews.

i think its 30 on PSN and 40 retail, which is fine for me. If you are a GT fan im sure this will be worth the 30 or 40 bucks

They are, its just it takes minimal effort to slap together a demo out of the cars and tracks they have already finished, and its a good way to boost the bottom line.

:| You guys don't realize or just haven't been around to know that Prologue is more than a demo, its the closest representaion of the final product and its great fan service. If you'd like dis-agree with that then just ask the people who've bought it in the past. The GT Prologue series sells more than most games.

what was it, 5 tracks 40 cars, and damage modelling.
GT5 will have over 30 tracks, 300 cars and more extensive damage modelling, plus an arcade mode, and more modes. Its a complete game(i think its coming out in may so thats a long wait, a lot of improvements etc).

why pay for prologue if those cars and tracks will be in GT5 and with 'more extensive damage modelling', cows have yet to answer the question. and they say MS milks their customers.

a) its called fan service.
b) you don't have to buy it
c) those who do buy it thoroughly enjoy it
d) check the sales, it sells more than most games and is sold at an affordable price.

If you don't think its worth it then don't buy it, but millions of people last gen thought it was a great purchase. Plus its online, and GT has a great community.

:| Thats not the way rankings work bub, for a game to get a high score it must have surpassed the standards of its time. I'm not saying an 9 wouldn't be a 8 or an 8 wouldn't be a 7 now. But the score they got was relative to that times standards, so if your going to compare GT3 9.4 to Forza 2 9.2. Then it still stands 9.4>9.2 regardless. Forza just wasn't as big of an acheivement as GT3 was. The score says it all, although i could care less about scores.

Everyone bashed GT for not having damage. So they spend more time to add damage to it, and people still complain.

You ever think that they are releasing Prologue to see the reponse of the fans? Maybe the game could use a little touch up, is it that bad?

God forbid a developer actually wants to put out a product of high quality. I'm sure if Polyphony changed plans and released GT5 tomorrow all buggy, it would make you guys happy. Then you could say "teh powaz of teh cell!!!" and start bashing Sony, then proceed to praise Mass Effect.

GT: HD was the free demo what don't you get. Prologue versions have been out from the dawn of century for GT games, its simply fan service.

Because of time and the technological improvement 360 games are held to a higher standard than PS2 games, a pretty basic concept. If we were to use PS2 standards for the 360 almost every game would score AAA or even AAAA. What this means is that a 9.2 on the 360 is greater than a 9.2 for the PS2, seeing as how the 360 has a major technological advantage over the PS2, as well as the fact we expect games to improve over time. Therefore, Forza 2 is a better game than GT4.

My point is cows claimed that Forza 2's damage was "unrealistic" even though GT Prologue and past GT games had none. I just find it ironic that cows critisized something they say wasnt needed. Sorta like rumble...
