[QUOTE="RazMaTaz-1"]i dont know why people think Forza is the God Of Damage. Any of you actually played Toca Race Driver? Thats how cars react when they are crashed, not forza, where you crash a ferrari at 100mph and only the paint job and front bumper go wrong.

THATS A REAL LIFE CRASH

THIS IS A POOR EXCUSE OF A CRASH.

The fact that GT5 crashing nothing like either of those is what makes it even less realistic. You run into a wall going 130mph in GT5: Prologue and bounce of the wall and continue at close to the same speed. That's realistic? What a joke!!
Also, there are different levels of damage in Forza 2.
forget GT. That franchise is dead to me until they introduce damage lol.
Anyways, I know Forza 2 you can adjust damage, that dont mean real life ****crashes. Next time you drive the Mercedes SLR in Forza, hit the breaks at 100 mph and tell me if the rear wing comes up. Guarantee you it wont, inface, even with the porsches, that wont happen in Forza. now, back to damage. You drive your car at 100mph in toca, its game over, drive 100mph in Forza, you will get away with it. Fair enough your car may not run well, but no way can a ferrari handle a 50mph crash, yet alone a 100+ one
[QUOTE="Eltroz"]If Forza 3 comes out before GT5 then that means 3 Forza games were released in the time Poly took to release GT5 since Forza 1 was released after GT4.
SolidTy
Tells you something, doesn't it. It speaks volumes about the level of commitment from both SONY and M$, and ESPECIALLy from the Developers.
Heck, UBISOFT managed to SQUEEZEpoop out as many Splinter Cell's as Kojima has had Metal Gear Solid's.
what commitment? just coz Polyphony take too long to make a game doesnt mean they are better then other devs. Turn 10 made 2 awesome racing games and might even release the 3rd one before GT5 releases. Ubisoft managed to make splinter cell fast and every single splinter cell has been amazing and a better STEALTH game......kojima made MGS4 which is more cutscenes then gameplay
some people laughed at splinter cell coz enemies couldnt see the greendots on fishers head even though dev stated its only to let the player know while in mgs4 theres a whole dude laying on floor with a big butt right next to enemy yet they cant notice coz of his uber suit even though he is clearly visible....not saying thats bad, i enjoyed MGS4 alot but when it comes to stealth splinter cell is way ahead so dont try to say splinter cell is bad just coz ubi releases it fast or ill be one angry panda
So a game thats going to be released in 2010 owns a game that hasent even been announced to exist :?
The only people who can say "Gran Turismo is a better racing sim than Forza Motorsport" with a straight face are those who have never even played Forza Motorsport. Compared to Forza, GT is an arcade racer.foxhound_fox
Because Gran Turismo is one of Sony's cash-cows and is extremely popular. Just because a game is popular doesn't make it a good racing sim.
Anyone who has actually driven a car in real life, then played both Forza and GT will tell you that Forza recreates the physics of a moving car far better than Gran Turismo. foxhound_fox
You are spot on, my friend - as usual.
I think the GT series has always had way better racing sims then the forza series, and I think the next installments of each respective series will be no different. The cars handle better, the graphics are better, the physics are more realistic, the car lineups are better. Forza is only a little better then arcade racers in its realism. Forza might as well be an arcade racer because of it excess focus on customization( not the performace tune-ups but the physical customizations). It would be great if GT5 added crashes, and if it did, the case would be closed if it already wasn't; GT>>>>>Forza.Shenmue_Jehuty
Wait...you're this guy right?
