[QUOTE="shadow_hosi"][QUOTE="_en1gma_"][QUOTE="shadow_hosi"]the gameboy isnt a console its a handheld
_en1gma_
As long as it isn't a PC. It still proves the same point.
not really. gaming would not exist without the PC therefore it dosent matter that it was made popular elseware
without PC gaming there would be no gaming
True. Thanks for the talk. :D
Cleared a lot up for me.
anytime :D
[QUOTE="Zeliard9"][QUOTE="BobHipJames"][QUOTE="Carbine_Wasted"]All games start on a pc buddy. Chill.shadow_hosi
Um....like Mass Effect, Jade Empire, Fable, and Final Fantasy VII?
I don't think so, mate. That was an overexaggeration from the word go and doesn't really add anything to system wars anyway.
I think the point that should be maintained is that PC games are the best simply by merit of being PC games and the perks that go along with that fact. It should also be maintained that PC has the best online and is the best gaming platform.
Shun consoles and win.
It's very possible that Mass Effect was actually built on the PC first and ported to the 360. There may be evidence of this with the framerate issues and massive texture pop-ins in the 360 version (even by UE3 engine standards), as well as the long load times, and they're releasing the PC version particularly quickly.
all games are built on the PC. there are no games that are crated on the x360. they are made on the PCs
Obviously. I'm saying that Mass Effect was made as a PC game and then ported to 360. That doesn't happen with every game. Devs use the PC to make them all, but they don't make them all for the PC.
also: UE3 = unreal engine 3you dont need to say UE3 engine

Stop nitpicking.
Wasdie, it's more of a statement, not really an argument.

Oh snap! Look at those System Requirements to play GTA online! How long has it taken consoles to have these online capabilities?
Better start building the shrine around the pc :roll:ILikeCatFoodManI'll happily sacrifice a lamb everyday to present it to the PC God Valve.
wrong halo was a rts for the mac.... noob and gta wasnt a "cult" classic because had it been there wouldnt be a 4 coming out. because where is deus ex, baldurs gate, and psychonaut sequel? btw is ms is so evil why do you play games on windows?Halo: Bungie was developing Halo for the PC first before evil Microsoft bought the studio and brought halo to the xbox
COD: was made by IW for PC only before branching out to teh consoles in later versions
GTA: the first GTA was also only on PC from a birds eye view looking straight down. It was a cult classic.
All great games come from the PC. The PC is your mother, consolers - and don't you forget it.

[QUOTE="shadow_hosi"]made gamign popular? consoles almost killed gaming. nintendo saved it and its going downhill again. games are getting more expensive and shorter than ever before
6 hours for 60 bux? i dont think so
_en1gma_
Yea Nintendo saved gaming with consoles...
I'm not praising consoles; I'm trying to draw a line between what consoles did for gaming and what PCs did.
Stop being defensive. :)
People here fly off the chain and think that PCs are EVERYTHING for gaming.
