GTA IV vanilla looks like complete crap, to me. (no joke) The artst yle never appealed to me, and it hurts my eyes these days. Bland, boring, ugly as ****. I can't even comprehend how ugly it looks on consoles.
GTA IV tweaked with ENB series, now that looks great. Can't front, i like playing around in that city (not doing to story), and doing my thing, modding it from time to time (first person mod is very cool, man).
Mind posting some screenshots for comparison?I have completed 3 levels so far and I believe that gta 4 looks better.[QUOTE="call_of_duty_10"][QUOTE="gamecubepad"]
Crysis 2 looks better than that.

With mods yes. We'll see what happens when the first texture mod for Crysis 2 is released along with the DX11 patch.
Vanilla Crysis 2 craps all over vanilla GTAIV though.
So then you agree with the TC... GTAIV is current graphics king.
Metro 2033 is similar to Crysis 2 in that it's lacking in physics and consistency.
It also features some wacky character models and anyone wearing any kind of headgear looks like ass. I'd say the game looks better in screenshots than in action.
Unmodded Crysis 1:
Even without mods, it's king imho.
GTA IV looks fantastic and is incredibly detailed for such a huge map, but it's no graphics king. I think the physics engine contribute more to it's realistic visuals than the graphics actually.
1. Those jaggies on the first image kind of moot your point.
2. Crysis is king because of its tech, not because it "looks good."
GTA 4 looks amazing with some mods. But no one can run it.tehsystemwariorI took those screenshots in the OP myself and I have a low end pc. A little tweaking in the NVIDIA control panel and a framerate lock have resulted in smooth gameplay with no stuttering so far.
That's because my low end PC can't handle the aa.Those jaggies on the first image kind of moot your pointfoxhound_fox
enb doubles your resolution to get rid of jagged lines which is very taxing on the performance.
Anyone with a mid-range pc can enjoy a jaggy-free experience.
And besides, not all cars have that much aliasing. The motion blur further helps in hiding the jagged edges.
