GTA V online trailer is HERE NOW - Details about the mode added

I actually hope this game goes to every platform. Nobody should miss such a great experience.

I see it completely differently. There have always been these small discussions within threads between a few users that doesn't necessarily mean derailing.

And GTA is a huge game. Both on consoles and on PC. Of course console fanboys will try to use it in their favor and PC gamers will write what they think about it. Also SW is in a situation where new consoles are around the corner so a lot of discussion about that and what PCs position is at the moment.

Common, no reason to see this as derailing a thread or trolling and threatening with moderations ! This place is all about discussion, let people discuss this if they want. Trolling and derailing implies something bad imo, what bad has come out of this thread ?

I wrote my reason why I'm not getting this on consoles. People don't need to agree with me and heck, I might even end up getting this on PS3 and 360. But it's an inevitable fact that GTA V will be coming to PS3, 360 AND PC and that there will be comparisons between the versions.

The vast majority of the "discussion" you refer to is nothing more than a shit throwing contest between one troll and another user(or another troll).

Hell, any mention of PC gaming will derail a thread because of the perceived vast superiority of the PC platform by the user who brought it up and the general pompous nature that if you pick it up on any other platform you are receiving a gimped and unquestionably inferior version -- which is a blatant trolling and nothing more.

While I do agree with you in a way. Where do you draw the line ? Everyone has a certain BIAS, I think even mods have that. You are simply saying: mod all the PC elitists.

That's biased against a certain group here and that attitude would never make you a mod I'm sorry.

But I'll explain what I do agree with: not every discussion here is an interesting one, I don't get involved with all of them here in SW so perhaps what I wrote was to specific to be aplied to SW as a whole. And yeah: there are people that troll for a sport. I wouldn't be against banning them

But if you would ban all the fanboys here that can't bring any worthwhile arguments to the table than you would limit the population of SW to 10 and it would become a boring place.

Some people on here just troll and never have anything interesting to say. Banning them would not be a big loss. But if you start being to severe and biased towards a certain group you are not capable of cleaning this place up and I'd rather it stay the way it is then.

Rockstar North president Leslie Benzies said GTA Online could have launched at the same time as the main game, but that the studio considers it to be "a different entity, a separate thing".

He explained: "It'll be GTA Online; it's not part of GTA 5. Obviously it's set in the GTA 5 engine, but it's going to grow and evolve into its own thing." Access to GTA Online will come for free with every retail copy of GTA 5.

That could be read in so many different ways, but he also said its just a code that you download -- so it seems its on the disc and you just turn it on in a way after two weeks.

"When it launches, you'll have an extra character on your Switch Wheel. Instead of choosing Franklin, Michael or Trevor, you'll select your multiplayer character and you'll be sucked straight in there," Benzies explained.

Now since the ToU has relaxed this place isn't even a good place for news anymore. A thread pops up about GTA V online and it quickly turns into a PC vs. Console debate, something completely unrelated and beaten to death by same group of people.

you really want it back exactly how it was? it was pretty horrible and i cringed almost every time i went into the ask the mods forum. people could get modded for not fully backing up their opinion.
