GTA4 10/10 reviews rigged by rockstar

Well unfortunately on SW, hell any game forum for that, nobody cares what you think. GTA is now labeled as an overrated POS that is being examined day in and day out for all flaws to support that argument. What was once a highly anticipated title is now the most hated. All because people live such insignificant lies, that it actually matters what score a game gets. If a game gets a high score, they won't play it because it's overrated but they'll go play a game that got a 7 and say how it's extremely underrated and how people don't appreciate it beecause they aren't real gamers.

i throught the game was good but not perfect. I would of gave it a 8.

I will have to side with the group that says GTA4 is great, but it is not 10/10 or AAAA or 100%. I would say it is 95%. Every game will have its ups and downs. In addition, every game will have at least one person that will give it a perfect score as well as another person that will give it the totally sucks score. This is because each person is unique. There may be similar tastes, but there is no single game that absolutely everyone will love and no one will hate nor even dislike.

Although, I will say that blacklisted reviewers should give a review score. Games should be given a 0 out of 10 or 0% for every reviewer that is blacklisted. It would be the proper and most just penalty for any company that chooses to blacklist.

i think it's sad that critics sell out their credibility :(

Not to the extent of having 37 10/10 reviews for it. Its not that good. Thats the real grand theft about the whole thing and its legal. How much more corrupt can you get?

i was thinking the exact same thing, it only makes sense that they would leave things out to add thru DLC, but i think it was stupid.

the way its been scored you'd think its the best game to have come out in the past few years. its not, and in all honosty, nothing special on any front.ninjaxams

It's more than that. It's like it's supposed to be the greatest game of all time. -_-

The Internet has allowed people to whine about everything. Back in the day there would of made double the threads about complaining about Tony Hawk and Soul Caliber's 10s. There also would of been a bunch of people saying Ocarina of Time didn't deserve it either.

People were fine with the 9.6's of the previous 3 games. GTA IV improves on all 3 games and correctly goes into the current generation of gaming with an amazing title.

GTA IV's reviews are rigged? What about every single Nintendo game that's been released on the Wii and are exact same games as the Gamecube but score better? What would Mario Kart have recieved review-wise and what would the sales been like if it wasn't a "Mario Kart" game.

Before people start pointing their fingers at GTA IV....I think you should understand a score of 9.6 to 10 isn't a huge deal like everyone is making it to be. And most of the review places (besides IGN and Gamespot) give 10s to a lot of games.
