awards here have never been based off of ratings...of the 4 previous games to get 10's here, only one ever got GOTY, and that was back when PC and console GOTY awards were seperated, so the Sims would have been huge competition considering its level of inovation.

In fact, their have been several GOTY winners that were not even given AAA scores here.

I know, but I still think its kinda of strange considering the Wic review didnt have a single negative listed at all.

I think its interesting that the current front runner, and what appears to be a very hard to beat score, for GoTY, is shared but the 360 and ps3.

Can anyone fault MS for dumping 50million for DLC to a game that scored a 10 here, and is poping up huge scores all over the video game media? I say, brilliant move MS. I doubt none gamers will notice, but they wrote a big fat check on behalf of 360 owners that will pay out big time.

GTA IV = definitely a delicious scoop of ice cream, 360 and PS3 all gets a scoop, but only the 360 get extra exclusive episodic content scoops.
