GTA4 has Bad Graphics

The graphics in supposedly HD, look terrible, Jaggies everywhere, low res textures, and the list goes on.

The only thing I praise it for are PRETTY good physics, (I said pretty good because Crysis blows it away in physics.

GTA in SD, looks like a last gen game, no joke.

So yea....GTA has Bad Graphics.

I actually thought they were quite nice for a gta game

riding around in a helicopter at night is simply breathtaking

the water is photorealisic when you are on a boat

and some indoor enviroments are also photorealistic

edit: why in the world are you comparing Crysis to a GTA game?

I have a bad feeling about todays generation of system wars gamers, that is for sure.

I could be fairly sure you guys go and play it for hours just to come here and talk smack about it.

Last time I checked, GTAIV was a 10.

Also, last time I checked, Crysis was ...hmmm....less than 10.

Therefore, according to SW logic, this means that GTAIV >>> Crysis. LOLZERZ!

GTA has great graphics man. Liberty City has never looked better.

Besides the graphics being pretty, the environment feels so real. You'll pass people watering plants, homeless huddling by a fire, people reading books on benches, people smoking, and talking on cell phones.

It's not Uncharted, but it's still great looking. Especially for the size of the game.

GTA has always had crappy graphics, they werent too bad considering past games, IMO.

Also, congrats on not making a complete troll thread for once, Painballz.

And yet it's an incredible amount of fun. Explain that.

I think the GS reviewer got it about right when he said "GTAIV looks good but the graphics don't stand up to close scrutiny".

The textures are really low-res in some areas,lots of jaggies and the frame-rate really chugs when things get busy.But looking at the bigger picture,I don't think there has been a more technically ambitious and impressive game this gen imo.

According, to gamespot, Crysis is one of the best FPS ever made, so yea.

It is fun to play, play it and then talk (which I know you haven't)

the graphics are okay. i think what people don't understand is that you can go around the entire city, and as long as you don't do any missions, you can go around for hours and hours on end and you never experience LOADING.

this is why the graphics are only okay as opposed to amazing.

Nope, its because of console limitations, I mean, you can only push them so far.

I have said it once and will say it again; Painballz is the most annoying fanboy on system wars. Whenever it I think he cannot get anymore ridiculous he always does just that.
