GTA4 Online Ideas

You know what would be cool if Grand Theft Auto 4 included online play. I think it could work and you could have a bunch of different online game modes such as

Straight up death match on the streets of New York

Team death match where the gangsters/mobsters square off in NYC (Liberty City). No wanted level would be involved in death matches.

Chaos Match: Contest held in a spefic area of Liberty City to see who can create and sustain the highest wanted level (and the cops go after you)

4 Star Locked Wanted Mode: A co-op mode where players come together to say screw the authority and fight waves of cops locked into the 4 star wanted mode no matter what you do.

5 Star Locked Wanted Mode: A co-op mode where players come together to say screw the authority and fight waves of the swat team/feds locked into the 5 star wanted mode no matter what you do.

6 Star Locked Wanted Mode: A co-op mode where players come together to say screw the authority and fight the army locked into the 6 star wanted mode no matter what you do. Players would be given acess to the best weapons for 6 Star wanted mode.

what would you think of the concept of GTA4 online play, those ideas and your own ideas for GTA online play?

This is just a brilliant idea. I hope R* do something like that.

Hope so. The more hate against GTA, the stronger its sales are going to be. It's not arriving in the holiday season this time so it needs as much publicity as it can get.

And watching FOX bash on games is fun as well.

think of this, way in the future, if gta is still strong an kicking. everyone in the game like the people walking the streets or driving the cars( the AI) are all replaced with actual people playing online. that would be epic iamshivy

I was thinking allong the same lines. Yet i would give it more or a WoW feel . As in Gangs(clans) , gang territories ( provinces) , costum gang vehicles , you can start your own mob/gang and buy property and industry custamize your look/weapon choices etc. Basically your aim is to take over the entire city or as much as you can. You's have to pay you mob members " money you obtain from stealing , online missions ( quests lol) , etc as you would in the offline conterpart. Once you get some cash hire some goons lol and take over a street. Would be freaking awesome.
