I wouldn't have taken the list seriously if GTA V wasn't on the top. Actually, I still can't take that list seriously.

Grats to GtaV... Worthy of the award for sure... Personally I thought bioshock was a bested by the last of us, but not by much. Still, I'd love to see dragon's crown and battleblock theater get some love. Both amazingly fun games.

But I guess it's cool to see GTA V on top. I sure as hell am having fun with it. I still loved TLOU but GTA V is overall more fun to play and has more replayability

@seanmcloughlin: yeah... I mean the GtaV, pick up and play for hours approach puts it over the top for me. Its a monster of a game.

There's no way that GTA V deserves game of the year. There really isn't 4 years worth of design put into the missions in that game.

Decent list, but as others have already pointed out, the handheld choice is highly questionable.

But then again, the Golden Joystick awards have always been popularity contests, so I can't say I'm too surprised.

So Bioshock got snubbed for best storytelling. Tis a shame.

As far as Assassins Creed Liberation 3 on the PSP Vita, theyre releasing a HD version for PC, Steam, PS3 and 360 too.

A pretty solid list. I'd personally have liked to see The Last of Us take GOTY, but I'm happy with that list overall. Happy to see The Witcher 3 in most wanted.

TLOU shouldn't be on that list at all. Overhyped crap game.
