What exactly am I looking at?  Specially when the game has yet to be released lol.

Well, I'm actually unbiased as I haven't got a PS3 yet (but I have extensive knowledge of it and practically live at my friends house who has a PS3), so I'm not trying to justify my purchase. I have a PS2, Xbox and GC, and in England it's the equivalent of $850 dollars for a PS3, and I'm happy to spend that money on buying a superior console. In myunbiased opinion, it's a farbetter console, and I have had second thoughts and thougt to myself, should I buy a 360 instead, but I thought no, because I want the best, like Hidoe Kojima sais, 'cinema eperience'.

This thread is quite funny actually :P Well then I think that the 360 version will be better than the PS3 version. Look at all the games that are out to the PS3 and is out to the 360 too, the 360 versions of every game is better; graphics, physics and all the things that you look at is better on the 360.

as i see it, from a dev point of view, you could argue either way.  Rockstar said that the 360 has limitations

What the 360 has going for it is that GTA4 is a 360 game that is being ported as its being made. 

What the ps3 has going for it is hardware.  The 360 has 3 different models, and all its games have to be playable on even the inferior core system.  This means 360 games have to be playbable without a hard drive.  I dont know if bluray will help the ps3 version any, but it might.  The ps3 version will probably have extra content and whatnot (which is traditional for ports).  Of course, it has to be essentially the same game as the 360 version, so the ps3 version will suffer from the 360's failings.

360 version wins, in the short term anyway.  In the long term, probably 360 as well, since having a game being made around a system gives that system the best version 9 times out of 10.

A 360 version. It's either going to be on about 20 discs, or it's going to look, sound and play horribly. Or, it doesn't exist. The latter, I think. 

Let me make sure I understand this TC.  More people clicked on GTAIV for the PS3 than the 360, so that means they all have information that it will be better?  You pretty much said this in one of your posts because you said "Yes, which means more people show interest in the PS3 one, and why COULD that be??? There has to be a reason for that!" 

I have two problems with this.  1)  You with your extensive knowledge of all things PS3 have no concrete information regarding this and 2) even if you didn't know and all those PS3 owners did, I find it odd that not one of them would come here and post this supposed reason it will be better. 

So, how about instead of posting things that YOU think HINT at the PS3 version being better, you just post actual information stating that it will be?
