They are only the tiniest bit touched up. Short answer is yes. Long answer is that there was a little bit of colour-correction done and some minor polish, but nothing major. Still very close to reality and it looks better in motion in my opinion.H8s2spooge

I agree, Alan Wake is their answer, its coming to 360 and from what iv seen (not sure if its PC or 360 gameplay) it looks far better than killzone 2. I would of thought when the gameplay video of killzone 2 came out looking nothing like the e3 05 trailer all the cows would go quite and not mention killzones graphics, but something makes them not only think they look the same but are the most advanced graphics in a game. But the truth is they are hardly better than current console games and lagging far behind what the PC is capable of, and by the time its released i wouldn't be surprised if there were afew other games looking just as good if not better on both platforms.

I dont like the touched up pics.

But anyway, i still think KZ2 will be the most technological advanced console shooter to come this gen, it will set benchmarks to ways a game should be made. Hopefully it will be longer than 12 hours to complete.

and how about the 360 version?? remember im not saying that killzone 2 looks better then PC games...even multiplat PC games look better then their console counterparts....because its a PC, as long as you put enough money into it...then you can get the best performance. consoles are BASICLY always constant...you cant upgrade their graphics card or anything (off topic, this is why its pretty stupid saying that PC's should be counted as a "system" like consoles but anyways....thats what i think)

Besides the original shot looks fine to me.

Graphics power of PS3 has been a known issue, being not as sharp looking asXBox 360. The issue has been taliked about by developers and is old news.PS3 does have a more powerful CPU butso far it's not been enough to compensate in the graphics area. Hopefully, Sony will find a way to work around the problem, especially by the time that Killzone 2 comes out.

You've got to be kidding me. ANyone hyping Alan Wake at this point hasn't seen the latest gameplay vids and still think the game looks like the very first E3 movies from 2 years ago. The game now looks more like Silent Hill 3 or RE4 than anything CLOSE to what the first demo renders looked like. The game has really been downgraded. Killzone 2 we've seen gameplay videos and even the gaming critics say it meets expectations AND the original promises made by the target renders.
