While lots of folks believe its Killzone 2 with a little over 120 devs... its really another game.

The title for the largest dev team goes to Halo 3 - with 250+ part-time and full-time staff working at all times.

"For the last three years, a team of 250 full-time and part-time designers and engineers at Bungie Studios, the development house that is owned by Microsoft, have been assembling Halo 3, said Frank O'Connor, the game's head writer. (He declined to say how much money they spent on the game)"

Thats a lot of people. and seriously makes me think what Halo 3 truly has in store for its fans... how much has it kept secret from its fans? (though clearly im not one of em)

LittleBigPlanet dev team is only 10 people and that game has nothing but good things said about it. But thats great for 360 owners anyway. ;)

well that explains why kz and 2 is and will be so bad they spend so much time on grafix they forgot about the gameplay :(

the amount of people doesnt really matter that much....STALKER had a dev team of like 9 full time devs and managed to trump almost every other FPS out there.cobrax75

no. Epic large scale games = lots of devs needed.

sry apparently the GS page was limited....the team appears to be a lot larger then listed on GS's page....but still fairly small.

well

if anyones ever played max payne

and tried the kung fu addon mod

that total conversion was made by one single individual

sure it wasn't like he had to make levels or a ton of diff models

but im pretty sure he did it himself and over the summer too

killzone 2 has much more, 120 is the dev team, they have A LOT more staff wrkignin that building
