That's right, I'm make this bold claim for everyone to see. I believe GH3 will be best on the Wii.

http://wii.ign.com/articles/816/816619p1.html

After reading IGN's hands on and explaining the exclusive Wii features I just don't see how this won't be better than the 360 and PS3 version. And for a game like this Wii doesn't have to worry about losing out in graphics since the only thing that's graphically comparable would be the band members playing in the background the entire time.

Wii: The only version with rumble. Speaker built into guitar for even more feedback (go figure, this works great for a music game).

And online sounds like it's going to be equal to PS3 and 360 for play. The only weakness I see is Wii not being able to download more new songs.

Anyways, let's see which copy sells more in the first ... 3 or 6 months? You decide!

Personally I don't think rumble and a speaker make up for Wii's vast shortcomings in the online space.

That and the speaker in the controller isn't that good, the feedback won't be that great.

Is Guitar Hero the type of game that is designed for or really needs great online features?

AndAC/DC isn't in Guitar Hero3, right?

No, but how many games really need online features? They can certainly only add to the game's long-term value, in this case.

Why do u need rumble when your playing GH? It just seems tacked on to say look Wii has rumble.

Secondly seriously u can't even compare the online aspect of the game between consoles. However I would say that 350 will have a superior online compared to the other versions.

It depends if the rumble ends up being an annoyance. If not then I'm all for it. They better get the online right.

Well, I'd say yes since the multiplayer is the best aspect of the game, in my opinion. Originally I was going to buy two guitars right off the bat but now I only need one to get things started if I can play with people online. So in that sense it's cheaper than having to shell out another $70+.

How can it be best when you're stuck with the same songs and can't download anymore?

My problem with a lot of Nintendo games is that you can't download any extra stuff like songs, maps, levels.

The speaker quality is terrible on the Wii-mote. The graphics will be PS2 quality. And the guitar is basically the same as the other consoles. The only real thing you can say is an advantage is a rumble. Wow.

The Wii version will have online features, we just don't know which yet.

Regardless, Guitar Hero is the type of game you play with your friends.

It really isn't as much fun as playing against someone in the same room. That's what makes Guitar Hero so great. You can have friends over who aren't too into games and they will be able to play and have fun with this game.

I've played a few electric guitars. Real ones...NO RUMBLE and boy was I ticked...

I asked the guy at Guitar Center "Why this guitar it no rumble?"

He said "WTF are you talking about rumble?"

and I said "It no rumble, rumble like the game of video rumble! You know rumble! Rumble!"

I can't remember what happened after that.

They never denied song downloads. There is also a Nintendo WFC option if you read the IGN news. The rumble and sound is a cool idea no matter how bad the wiimote's speaker is. I don't know if it's going to be the best version but it definenty will be somewhat different.

Crappy speaker sound and rumble? Not worth it. I'd rather have the superior sound, video and online service thanks.

Proof of downloadable songs? You're going to run into trouble with the space. And I dont think SD cards will work since you are purchasing songs that need to be tied to your console.

I think the burden of proof lies on you on the fact that it won't have downloadable songs considering there is a Nintendo WFC and wiiconnect24.

I know that. But even if they are on SD cards you still need them to be on the Wii console.
