Like the topic says, a friend of mine has the Wii and a 360 and wants to know what system it is better for. Besides the obvious graphics differences are there other things. Like response of the control, does the Wii have downloads like i have seen on the PSN and i imagine are on Xbox Live. Anything. Thanks

wii doesnt have downloadable content YET, but they have rumble in the controller because you just put the wii mote in it. and i think the wii controller is more responsive in star power also

I've only spent a limited amount of time with the Wii version but I found the controller more responsive when using star power, presumably because of the Wiimote. Also the Wii doesn't have online or DLC yet, and there's an issue with the sound outputting in stereo (although a fix is on the way).

DLC for Xbox, not for Wii.

Considering how pointless graphics are for Guitar Hero, it just depends on personal taste and if you like DLC.

Wii doesnt have downloadable content yet. Otherwise its pretty much the same game. The online for the Wii version is also better than the PS3 version. Wii version has specific Wiiremote features, none of which matter or change the game very much.

My cousin says it's a pain because you have to put the Wii-mote inside the guitar or something.

I don't see how you could download songs on the Wii version. Just get the 360 version. I think the 360 version has more people online as well (I think it sold more copies, plus Wii isn't known for it's online prowess really)

Edit: Yeah, I forgot about that whole "Wii version is only in mono audio" scandal. In that case, the 360 version is a slam dunk (considering GH is a music based game)

JiveT

Yeah you put the wiimote inside the guitar. Its not so bad if you have two controllers, you can use one for the guitar the other for other games if your that lazy to take it out..
