Hackers don't have morals. They just went after Sony because Sony went after the guy that enabled piracy.

Going after nintendo isn't smart. There is no reason for that.
Guess that goes to show, there are multiple types of hackers.

What the hell kind of moral is that? You really want Sony to keep suffering from the hacker attacks? You should know that they aren't doing it because they hate Sony, they are doing it because they can.

Nintendo hacked Nintendo years ago with those ridiculous friend codes... personal request to any hackers that are listening, can you do away with them?

Who cares what their motives are. They're pretty much cyber terrorists now, making enemies out of pretty much everyone. The people that once supported them must feel like fools now.

Of course they could be. I was considering that with the attacks on sony. There's just no way for us to know so i'll just remain open minded without conclusion.

I can't stand hackers that do nefarious things, but it's funny how people's opinions change when it's their product or product they like getting attacked.

LulzSec don't give a rats ass what Sony have done, their system had weaknesses and LulzSec exploited it and made it public, Nintendos system has a weakness and LulzSec exploited it and made it public, nothing to do at all with which company did what to who. Only an idiot can't see this.

They are doing it just for the lulz..... Anyways what will they achieve with this, leave Nintendo online infrastructure worse than already is?

Yet it doesnt affect the majority of us 360 gamers. Shows how well Microsoft deal with it, unlike Sony who feed their customers lies and take weeks just to get PSN back up and running.

Phishing isn't hacking. Did hackers manage to get to xbl users personal & credit card information? defaced Microsoft websites?

They hacked the system, but in a way it looks like they failed. They didn't do anything after hacking Nintendo. From what I understand from the article nothing happened.

Who says this is the same person. Also a mild breech is nothing, it's pretty much to be expected that if you're a big name that you will get hacked several times a year, they just don't announce it as the PR damage is far more harmful than any data loss.

these hackers are pathetic losers that deserve serious jail time. Surprising that the US government isn't able to catch these morons, someone should just put up a reward and amnesty for whoever turns these guys in. There is no honor among scumbags, one of them would turn them all in.

How is this Sony's fault? Can you give me reasons , good reasons.VensInferno
1- not investing in security 2- hiring lazy devs that can't even sanitize their websites from sql injection. 3- allowing anyone to reset your password by just knowing your email and birthdate. shall I go on? or those would do?

Hate hackers now. The only way to make these people stop is to make it known we don't want their "help". They need to think their hurting their cause by loosing support.

That being said, pretty much every war the US has been in over the past half century has had little support in the countries they were "protecting" and at home (Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan). So my question is, when everyone eventually hates these hackers as much as the rest of the world hates the US, will they stop?
