I've heard of the 360 scratching games, just like the PS2 did. But not from just playing it... it happens when people move the console with a game inside, especially with a game running. And if you are moving around your console with games running inside, then that's your fault. Sounds to me like Gamestop guy was using this silliness to get a boost on his commision. It's a non-issue.
*Edit* After looking around on the net and watching the posted vids I'd have to agree it seems apparent that some people have had this issue without actually moving the 360 around. To me, it would be smarter for those few affected to notify MS and demand free servicing, rather than everyone go out and buy warranties against something that happens to so few people. Stuff happens with complicated machines.
