Finally. A developer finally gets it.
Review bombing is terrible, but when you outright ignore the feedback from your consumers unless they make a big fuss then what do you expect? Developers that prioritize communication with their consumers (like CD PROJEKT RED) rarely face backlash like this.
No idea why industry veterans like Randy Pitchford can't seem to understand this and instead believe gamers are just being toxic for the sake of it.
Note: I'm not in support of review bombing. Sometimes it really is just people throwing a fit about an issue. An example of this is a game I loved (Detention) being review bombed on steam because of a political disagreement that had no bearing on the game. That being said, communication issues are a major factor in review bombing that many companies seem to be completely negligent of.
