Halo 2 vs halo 3 graphics comparision

Yeah its a remake of Zanzibar. 

The lighting looks a lot better, but honestly, we are going from a last gen console to a next gen, HD console. Halo 2 improved A LOT from Halo 1, and both were on the same console. H3 is on a next gen, VERY POWERFUL console, and it cant show a graphical leap over the Xbox 1? COME ON BUNGIE!!!

 The gameplay looks excellent, but the graphics better improve

I completely agree.  The graphical difference between Halo 1 and 2 was pretty amazing, so my expectations are quite high.  I've said before that I've put more hours into Halo than any other franchise, and I can honestly say I was pretty disapointed with Halo 2, but got over it as I put hundreds of hours into it.  I really, really hope bungie doesn't slack off on this project.  They can't just make this look like Halo 2 with some better textures (which is what they seem to be going for thus far), I want to see Gears of War quality graphics or better.  This is Halo 3 we're talking about.  If it doesn't match or exceed Gears for graphics, I'll be pretty let down.  This is the close to Microsoft's killer app series, Bungie needs to blow us away in every detail.  Anyway, it's still got a long way to go as far as developement is concerned, so there's no need to rant on about it too much.  The beta video did look somewhat promising, and it's nice to already see alot of improvements.

In your eyes Bungie have been stuffing around for the past 3 years with Halo 3, as you assume from the so called garbage visuals of the game.

Well, it'd be stupid if they were stuffing around. So what is the logical explanation to this "absence" of hard work?

Actually its like a kind of do work for MS seeing that ive had a sneek peak of Halo 3's beta (the full mp with all features in, and not the stripped down public beta). So yea, ive seen whats "planned" to be in the multiplayer

Last time someone told me that I was foolish enough to believe them. 

When the game is released u will see it looks just like the first trailer.

It's only a Beta version....it already looks better than Halo 2....its gameplay is what makes the Halo franchise the best experience in all of gaming....

I know it's only beta or whatever, but Halo 3 is looking rather weak. I was hoping the graphics from the previous trailers. Guess I got my hopes up.

It looks better than Halo 2 in a 'GC vs Wii graphics' kind a way. Damn unimpressed.
