oh god, halo 2 was great for 5 minutes but then i had to put timesplitters 2 in , that was not only an excellent game that is one of the best fpses ever available even today you wont find anything with more levels more gameplay options more fun , and you wont find many that include a map maker either ,,

its right up there with goldeneye perfect dark doom duke nukem and turok and halo ce, ,

halo 2 is down where youll find halo 3 red steel pd0 prey among others- been there done that red steel was actually more funner so it can go in between

Its singleplayer was simply average as far as design goes, even if the core mechanics were enhanced in areas. The story had much promise - the Arbiter was compelling character. Then the game turned into a horrible mess of botched storytelling. No Halo 2 was good, if you factor the online multiplayer, across platforms is 'eh'.

First off, I'm a hardcore Halo fan.

Second off, I can not find any enjoyment out of the Halo 2 singleplayer, minus of a few of the Earth missions. I just didn't find any fun, and the maps were not generally open like they were in the original Halo -- Halo 3 addressed most problems, and I absolutely love both the single player and multiplayer of the third installment. I can play through the whole campaign anytime, it would not annoy me. With Halo 2, can't do it.

I wish they just waited till the 360 to do Halo 2 so it could've been more with their original vision -- which was an epic vision, at that. But, oh well, we're getting a taste of that vision back with ODST and, hopefully, with Reach (since Reach will generally be an all urban battle, in theory).

Deiuos

I completly agree with this. Halo2 had to much boring dark corridor maps. On the other hand, Halo CE and Halo3 had mostly open maps with tons of vehicles...HaloCE = Halo3 >>> Halo2 imo

God of War II had a cliff-hanger, too, but it was epic as hell!
