Then 9.5 will become the top score and games will stop recieving 9.5s so they will take it down to 9.0 and so on and on until your logic fails.

I'm tempted to say 8.5 for Halo 3. In my opinion the only really amazing Halo game has been Combat Evolved, and that was partially because it revolutionised console first person shooters, which Halo 3 will not do.

Oh god, it's been 6 years since a perfect game, just get rid of the score! Give me a break, 6 years is NOT a long time, last generation we had TWO AAAA, and we've still got another 6 years for this generation to get two as well.
