[QUOTE="Killfox"][QUOTE="mistervengeance"][QUOTE="Killfox"][QUOTE="dgsag"][QUOTE="Bullets4Brains"][QUOTE="dgsag"][QUOTE="mrboo15"] Crysis looks better depending on the hardware in the PC its being installed on, only not everyone has a PC to make it look like the released shots.

PCs will only get better. Your 360s and PS3s won't become more graphically capable.
And yet 360 and PS3 are still untapped, come back in 5 years when PS3 and 360 games are 2X better looking than Crysis.
PS2 Fantavision Vs God of war 2, get my point?.
God of War 2 still looks worse than Half-life 2. What's your point? :?
Bullet your making yourself look stupid. You answered your own statements. You said that come 5 years down the road games on PS3 and xbox360 will looks better. So what about 5 years down the road for PC. You do know the crysis is the first DX10 game. So games will only get better. Also about PS3 and xbox360 games looking better. Yeah they may look better than crysis 5 years down the road but will never have as sophisticated AI or that amount of physics happening or that amount of restructable environments. So plain and simple you lose.
you forgot the fact that it's a pc. pc=windows. windows=crash every 5 minutes, if you're lucky. plus. pc's have to run the operating system at the same time its running the game. the consoles just run the game that's it. plus the graphics cards which run in today's consoles ( 360 and ps3) are extremely advanced and are at least 300-400 to get in a pc (they probably don't even make them for pc). maybe you're rich and buy a new graphics card every 2 years for your compy, but for most people the 360 and ps3 hardware is enough and will be better than pc hardware for about 3-4 years at least. pc gaming has only survived because of the amount of customization and free extra things you can do.
Hmm you do know that the 8800GTX is 2 times more powerful than the 360 and PS3 GPU. For a $300 to $400 I can get an 8800GTS which will max out crysis.
However, people still forgets that the 8800GTX still has the memory bottlenecking problem which the 360 GPU doesn't have. Thus, it may explain why there is actually 2 cards in the package and why it is very expensive. I still rather play games on the 360 since it's still cheaper than PC gaming. gnutux
memory....bottlenecking problem.....oh I cant wait to hear the explanation for this....
Funny you should mention memory...considering your 360 barely has any.
