Halo 3 could be done on a Wii

I am a huge Halo fan.  I had mad fun playing Halo 2 on friend's 360's.  I'm sure Halo 3 will be a ton of fun.  And I'm sure Halo 3 could be done on a Wii.   Halo 2 was done on the original Xbox.  The Wii is slightly more powerful than an Xbox.  Halo 3 so far only looks slightly better than Halo2.

I guess the Wii fans were right all along.  Graphics aren't important gameplay and fun is.

At first glance it looks like Halo 2 because it has the same art style, the Halo art style, but technically this game's graphics are far ahead in terms of draw distance,textures,shaders,polygons,special effects and contrast. Wii could not handle Halo 3, thats just crazy. The textures plus high defintion shaders are too much for the Wii. Even if wii could somehow muster the geometry, it's memory would hold back the textures and amount of objects on screen plus the shaders probably wouldnt be implemented since they can only be done through software rendering which hurts the framerate even more. Wii CAN'T handle Halo 3 period.

That's why I said "so far".  I hope it looks better.  It would be a waste of processing power not to make it look as good as Gears but still keep Halo's fun factor.

well the E3 trailer was apparantly in-game, so we know what to expect.

According to EGM, the game's single player graphics will make you say "Gears of What?" I seriously doubt it could be done on the Wii.TyrantDragon55

if halo came out "as is" without the gears level of graphics, but had improved/balanced the gameplay - would you guys still buy it?  i probably would.

What so you expect us to sit by idly while people bash Halo 3 when it's ALPHA multiplayer footage has been shown? Plus this is an absurd argument thinking Wii can handle Halo 3. Thats just pure trolling **** talk.

let the mods take care of it then. im sure halo3 cant run on the wii but the way its turning out ill bet killzone2 has better graphics and halo has the better gameplay. either way both great games. continue with your damage control nowe20Dylan

How do you know Killzone 2 will have better graphics or Halo 3 will have the better gameplay? Neither is out. We don't have ANY footage of Killzone 2 besides a fake CG video and all we have of Halo 3 is an extremley unfinished WIP of the single player and slightly more finished build of the multiplayer. For Killzone 2, we have the first game which sucked hard. Both Halo's were much better games. I think Halo 3 holds alot more promise.
