I certainly hope Halo 3 has it's version of that. While a map editor goes a long way, it won't make up for the loss of that factor. halo series just isn't designed for it. Yep. That thing was one of my only problems in the beta. Jeez its crazy lol.

I really hope Bungie doesn't change it because it worked into the gameplay. :D

I have. they are nice. But they don't cut it. Why? They aren't really part of the gameplay experience. Not to say H3 will be lacking. It just doesn't have what I personally define as depth.

While I do agree Halo is cool, there was something in it that not made me feel in the game. I think it was because the environment isnt that much war-torn and the guns were...weird to me. But thats my opinion-L-U-I-S-

Yah, it wasn't suppose to be wartorn. In Halo CE you tried to avert war.

As for Halo 2.... dunno what happened there. The E3 2003 trailer looked pretty war-like.
