Halo 3 is gonna rock your face off this fall (KILLZONE, CRISIS, and MP3 am CRY!)

Its praised because of Halo CE, Halo 2 had great multiplayer, its easy to understand why......the question is why killzone 2 is getting so much hype, killzone 1 was cr*p..

That's not really a lame excuse because right when it hits the PC, it's not exclusive to Xbox anymore.

Ok ok I just read about crisis MP and that sounds kinda cool. But IMO no other game is less generic than halo. I mean I really dont get the hype for COD4 it looks like battlefield.... how is that interesting at all? and why do people expect so much out of killzone? They lied about a trailer and their first game (aparently) was crap. And I'm sorry but MP3 looks exactly the same as MP2 Which looked the same as MP1.

On a side note Crisis' story (from what i've read) doesnt seem that interesting which is something halo gets bashed on (despite it actually having a good story....) a lot.

the reason halo is so good is that it does the basics very well .. the gameplay is solid

you don't really notice how good it is and appreciate it until you've played a mediocre FPS like Killzone

You can replace North Koreans with anything from Blacks, to Europeans, to Blooglebubs.

I think the question to ask is "How many routine missions involve racing with (X Race) to investigate (X object) from (X place)". That's how you deal with archetypes.

One thing is, that any smart person would know that comparing Metroid Prime 3 and Halo 3 would be like comparing apples and cherries ... but let me say this, the Metroid series is the best series in its genre at least .... the Halo series is by far not the best sries in the genre ...
