Halo 3 Score Prediction based on Metriod Prime 3

Of course we all know that MP3 received an 8.5 and Zelda got a 8.8. Both REALLY good games. Based on the bad notes of their score I predicted Halo 3's score below.

Metroid Prime 3 Score 8.8

Streamlined controls make things a little too easy and a little less adventurous

Doesn't do much different than the previous two Metroid Prime games.

Zelda Twillight Score 8.5

graphics and sound sometimes go from nostalgic to dated.

With this being said Halo 3 will have streamline controls that feel fluid. Halo 3 ISN"T much from its previous installment, the story just ends. The graphics are touched up for High Definition but they are the same character model designs of the past two Halo's and The Halo 3 Theme song will be back with probably re used music.

My vote is that Halo 3 will get a 8.5 since its nothing new to its previous game just like Zelda and MP3. On another note Zelda and MP3 single player stories are probably 3 times longer then Halo 3's single player. So go ahead and tack on short single player for Halo 3.

Yep, there nothing new in Halo3 compared to Halo2.

Also i dont know why some people are saying its gonna get 8.5 and then they are hyping unreal tournament 3 aaa. If halo 3 gets 8.5 then it is impossible for unreal tournament 3 to get higher.

Halo 3 will have incredibly strong multiplayer options, which now includes the 4-player campaign coop. The game will offer strong replayability.

These multiplayer options, plus all the new weapons, vehicles, and powerups, and a strong single-player campaign should lift the game to a 9.0 and better.

Halo 3 has the gameplay, it has the story, the sounds, the musical score. The only reason people are fearing a score of below 9.0 is because of graphics - they do not meet expectations. I don't think that Gamespot is going to score it below a 9.0 just because the graphics won't set a new standard. Personally, I think they are really good. But it won't flop the game, no way.

i dont get why everyone talks about the multiplayer so much. i already like the multiplayer. im more worried about the single player, since it didnt really hold my interest as much as everyone said it would (overhype ftl). and i dont mean co-op, because that still counts as multiplayer. redmetal86

First the graphics were much better, second the controls were increadible, third there was a new achievement system, fourth there was voice acting (which was a huge improvement), fifth there was a plot, sixth there was a new hypermode and corruption (very cool), and seventh they streamlined the experience so there wasn't as much backtracking.

So listen I know many of you are saying that there wern't any enhancements but the simple fact is that your wrong.

mp3 was one of the easiest games with the least depth ive ever played. the game had less weapons than gears of war, the story was totally bland, and having to wait for areas to load before you can go through a door is so not next gen.

You should have played it on a harder difficulty setting. You got weapon upgrades every 20 minutes in that game?!?

Sorry to tell you but every xbox360 game I have has load times.

but a load time every time you want to go into another room? dont think so. what weapon upgrades could you possibly have? you dont get any choice in what weapon you use, you either get an upgraded blaster that does the same amount of damage through the whole game, just changes color. and you get ice and multi rockets that do the same amount of damage through the entire game. so you basically have the same two weapons the whole time, they were just thrown in for the adventure/platforming parts of the game.

of course it has less weapons. the character has a gun fixed to her arm. you can only put so many modes on one blaster, ( at least i would think that would be the case in real life) not to mention it would look weird having her dual wield anything. also, its *current gen*. next gen is the next console cycle after the 360, ps3 and wii.

well, then i retract next gen, and i will say that the mp3 loads like a last gen game. loading every 25 seconds is something a game these days should have, but i guess that means that mp3 is almost too much for the wii to handle

The damage control against what is the truth is pretty pathetic. Other hyped shooters did not get AAA, and Bioshock was lucky to get a 9 on GS because it had some new features, Halo 3 is the exact same except for graphics and Forge, those are not enough to guarantee it AAA, especially if the single player winds up sucking and having a pathetic storyline. There is more guarantee that Halo 3 will get an 8.5 then a 9 so you should stop trying to pretend it won't happen because the odds are much higher it will be AA.
