lems living in the pasT? I stopped reading when you said "faultless experience". The game has a lot of flaws ,especially its uninteresting single player.
The first time i played Halo was about a month ago, and honestly im loving it.
It is, without a doubt a QUALITY game. VERY FUN.
I'd say it just about beats out BfBC as my favorite online game of all time.

Yeah, I'm of the same mind. It eradicates the competition. As I see it, Killzone 2 doesn't stand a chance. Neither does the generic and bad-looking Resistance 2.So in other words, this is just a thread with a hidden agenda to bash the ps3 right? No, it's about the superiority of Halo 3. Not really. It got really boring after a few hours. Very bland if you ask me. The only thing I like about Halo is the music, the rest is generic like most FPS's. Also Halo's story wasn't that good, it's just aliens attacking Earth, oh boy.

You know, its threads like this that make people believe Halo is overrated. I love Halo, but even I really want to face palm myself from reading this thread.
Master Chief is a soldier wearing a motorcycle helmet lacking any personality at all. Halo's graphics are bested by many other games, and it's gameplay offers nothing new. The only thing it has going for it is it's multiplayer, but even that is loaded with screaming 12 year olds.

Im sorry,but halo story is meh imo. Doesint hold a candel at least to me against HL2. Which has better characters and strory. I still like KZ2 more then halo.
Uhm the well rounded supreme FPS of all time is EASILY Half-Life 1, awesome single player, expansion and MODS, loads of them cult classics now. Sorry Halo can't touch that.

HL series to me is like an endurance test for me. the game is long as hell and the enemies would just run straight to you like all the old school shooters are and i saw nothing wrong with that until i first played Halo1. It kinda blew my mind of how smart the AI's are. Hide behind covers, retreat, calling for back up etc. I honestly can't think of any game that was like that until halo. No halo = no xbox imo.
Well,halo3 is probably....The most well-rounded FPS this gen,so far.We're not through this gen yet so we cant rule out what isnt playable yet.But honestly you cant even compare it shooters like MW,or KZ2,all you do is shoot from a FP perspective(except for alittle bit in KZ)in those title's.Halo let's you delv into all aspect's of the FPS genre,& succede's admirably.Also,just a theory,is Halo had been a multiplatform,I have no doubt most people would agree with your arguement.
Halo 3 is a great game with awesome co op experience with an amazing campaign. but I'm not exactly sure about the "supreme" FPS. 1: maps are to small in deathmatch (but you could always get the mmp) 2: no cover fire adding some unrealism 3: you can jump way to high providing easy run through for a player (on easy I can finish it quicker then wanted: weapons of fate) and even on hard it is easy as. Halo 3 is a great game but needs to be polished. Stiil it is one of the supreme shooter on the 360
