They have completely different art styles, Halo is more colorful and Killzone 2 is much darker, which one do you think looks best overall?
Let's spice it up, something that looks better than both:
We shall wait and see.

Halo looks great, but not realistic. The whole style and animations are almost comical. That's not a bad thing though. I for one like it because it's been apart of the franchise since day 1.
Killzones animations are smoother than a baby's bum. The lighting is unreal and the amount of polys are crazy. It's still pre-alpha, though the texture could get better they dont need to. Oh yeah, and the blood is more satisfying than Gears :D.
i like the way only one shot of halo 3 is actually a firstperson (someone actually playing) pic and it looks the worst of the lot.jt8b2zthe other ones are taken using the in-game user enabled save-film feature. u'll be able to set up a pic like that urself, if u hadnt sworn ur life to sony already, of course.
im sorry but fanboys will vote for halo cause its on xbox...not a single journalist would pick halo over kill zone when it comes to graphics...that is what the topic is....its not which is a better game...i think the halo storyline will be beter and epic...and halo multiplayer is always good but you cant tell me halo3 doesnt look like halo with just some better texturesWhotheman3612
It looks far more detailed than Halo 2 but it does look like Halo because it is a Halo game, they're going for the same style, they want it to look like Halo.
Why compare two games that are to be released so far apart.
Comparing Killzone 2 with Gears of War 2 is probably a more even comparison, at least they have the same art style.

ur kiddin urself, otherwise.
Killzone looks awful, washed out textures everywhere. It had to look gritty to go with the low res textures.
Halo looks a lot better, turn of the colors make it black and white for instance , Halo is technically alot better.
Wowo. Halo is just 2 months away and Killzone won't be released until Spring next year at the earliest. KZ2 is still in pre-alpha stages. We know nothing about the games other enviornments or if it will have improved textures. If it does, then no console shooter is safe.
KZ looks so good in motion it makes no sense.

It doesnt matter that KZ2 is pre-alpha, fanboys will side with there precious "halo"
Animations look nice, but graphics still lack, it's the little details, for example the weapon doesn't look as sharp or detailed like in Halo 3. In the end it's subjective and up to personal preferences I suppose.themyth01are you kidding me!!?!?!?!??
the main gun in the kz2 trailer looked much more detailed than the halo 3 weapons!
Both looks nice, but Killzone 2 doesn't really stand out. I mean if you took out the title Killzone 2 and just posted a picture people probably won't know what game it would be. They can probably mix up Killzone 2 and call it Resistance, Area 51 Black Site, or even COD4. It just doesn't stand out.
I think Killzone 2 is technically more accomplised and I really like the lighting and some of the animations, like when you shoot an enemy in specific body parts and he reacts accordingly (or so it seems).
Overall though I still like the art 5tyle of Halo 3 more and think I will actually prefere looking at the game for long periods of time, especially if the majority of the envrionments in Killzone 2 are gritty and dark...

I think you're right, the Killzone 2 name added it a lot of hype to it. Killzone looks like Call of Duty 4 , in some ways better and in some ways worse, Halo 3 looks different from most other shooters, I like that. It's pretty subjective at the end, but I wouldn't name Killzone the best looking game of E3.
[QUOTE="BrownWalrus"]This a joke, it's like saying Halo 3 looks better than GeoW. Fanboys :roll:themyth01
GeOW as of NOW, looks better than Killzone 2.
Still debatable. I myself prefer Killzone 2. It's my opinion, i just think it looks grittier and more believable. I just prefer it's overall look from what i have seen so far.
They both look great. But to each of them, they have pros and cons. Killzone 2 looks great, and I think the animation of the models look fantastic. Watch how they die when they get shot. They don't just go flying with some stupid retarded ragdoll system (ala Gears of War). They actually look like heavy models that crumple to the ground and die. Halo 3 has that scene with the Brute beating the crap out of the one guy. Talk about staticy.
Graphically, they both have their own style. Halo 3 of course that sort of "cartoon" like feel while Killzone 2 looks much more dirty/grifty due to all the warfare.Either way, I get to play both and I'm very happy to be a owner of 360 and PS3. Both systems have the games. Too bad for Nintendo.

Not according to the pics or videos... why don't you show me a pic of where Killzone 2 weapons look sharper and more detailed.
