Halo 3 vs Killzone 2 which is better?

why is this even an arguement when a multiplat in cod4 is the best console shooter so far. that being said Cod4> killzone 2> resistance 2> halo 3 imo

Where's the "neither" option? They're both exceptional shooters for their designated system. Why does X always have to be better than Y, or visa versa?

I don't understand it either.

Both have very different play styles, and very different story arcs. So what is similar?

Killzone 2 looks much, much better than Halo 3. It just is not as fun though, especially the online.

probably in the over-1 million-unique-players a-day opninions, too. and the ones that made Halo 3 last weeks most played Live game, over 1 and half year after release, and the ones that made it most played in 2007 and 2008. but you never know 4 sure..

If this isn't pownage at it's best, I really don't now what is anymore

the biggest reason for me why i prefer halo is just that theres nothing else like halo

when i play killzone i feel like im playing call of duty and battlefield and counterstrike and yadayadayada the gameplay is the furthest thing from unique

no other shooter is like halo, and again (personal preference of course) like some above me have stated, halo is just more fun more smiles more WHOOAAA

its not just about, alright cover....headshot....cover.....headshot....in really dark droll environments with limited weaponry and nay-vehicles

plus halo has every game mode known to man - killzone to me was just a very standard shooter but with godly graphics

Half-Life kills all, though.

So the only outstanding shooters on PC are Crysis and Half-Life? Yeah, no. PC is the platform if you love FPS's. There's really no debate. It has higher standards and always will. Consoles and PC are seperate.

Killzone 2 obviously has the better graphics, but Halo has the best controls and gameplay (of course that's in my opinion). I vote Halo.

Halo 3 doesn't take any skill, and it's more an an arcade shooter, played it and thought the graphics were from the first xbox era, KZ2 takes skill and looks much better

if you dropped me into killzone2 first time and then dropped me into halo3 first time i'd do a lot better in KZ 2 because its such a familiar gamestyle

enemies take like 20 shots to go down and they recharge lol

It's true that HL2>HL, but in longevity and gameplay, HL>KZ2 and Halo3

and CS was a free-mod, and is probably the best online multiplayer component and mod ever made to date.

i just played half-life 2 through a few months ago and it totally blew my mind

i still think its got the best physics and it came out in friggin 2004
