I've always like Metriod,

But the weak generic Wii hardware makes MP3 a less appealing.

I'd have to go with Halo 3,

bigger longer battles, better AI, better graphics, vehicles, 4 player Coop and a killer multiplayer.

For me, an immersive single player experience takes precendence over multiplayer. I suppose that's why Halo never really clicked with me. For this comparison specifically, I think it'll be close, but I think the majority values multiplayer and thus Halo.

I would say that MP has more in common with Bioshock than Halo. You should compare MP and BioshockGunSmith1_basic

Sorry to Say Halo 3 I will enjoy it more but Metroid has the better sense of quality. Both of them play diffrently and have diffrent stories.

Overall I will enjoy both for diffrent reasons.

They are two completely different games. Halo 3 will obviously have superior production values and deliver a real shooter experience. But I am a Metroid fan, so obviously I'm going to be more interested in Metroid Prime 3. I survived this long without Halo and have been just fine, but missing out on Metroid Prime 3 is definately going to be an endurance test for me.Timstuff

A real shooter experience is a subjective thing. I find focusing on online deathmatches to be shallow, but a robustadventure is the real "experience" for me.

I know the Halo story improved a lot from the 1st to 2nd, but from what I gather, the real meat and potatoes of the game is it's multiplayer. With Metroid Prime, the focus has always been on the adventure. There's justenormous attention to detail to really make you feel like you're in that suit. I find the boss battles, platforming, and overall gameplay to be way more engaging in Metroid Prime than Halo's campaign.

Although i'm more famialler with the halo series since i own and finished both games. And I have never played a Metroid game, but I have a Wii not a 360 and even then for some reason i would rather have Metroid 3, but halo 3 is going to be amazing, but i'm going for metroid.

In content? Depends on your definition of the word. In terms of a satisfying single player experience? That would depend on your level of Halo mania. If you've been waiting years to "finish the fight", then yeah, Halo 3 will probably more satisfying no matter how much better MP3 could be. But if you're looking for a more nuanced, less "run and gun" experience, I doubt Halo 3 will be "richer in content" to you.

when i say content and fun factor, i also mean replayability and coop. MP3 doesnt have those does it. it may be a long SP experience and im sure it will be great, but halo 3 will have so many different ways to play the game, it will be hard for it to compete.

plus these games, IMO, arent really in the same genre. i mean Halo is a run and gun, blow em up, intense shooter with MP as one of its main features. MP3 is really an action adventure game with an engrossing atmosphere similar to BioShock. i dont see it as fair to compare it to halo 3. BioShock is a better comparison.
