halo3-9.0 it will look great and have plenty on replay value from its online mode. however, it doesnt look like the gameplay is going to change that much.

Did you know GTA IV for Xbox360 has 2 DVDs ? Which means you should change the DVD1 to DVD2 but PS3 has only 1 DVD which is BLu-RAYYYY FTW

No, I'm saying we don't know enough about either game to start predicting what score they'll get.

Halo 3 : It wont live up to the hype...

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots = 9.4 or above And it I´ll probably become a symbol of the ps3´s superiority !!!

Halo 3 won't get near a perfect score i'd say a 9.2/10 from gamespot just because it's never been a good storyline game...and I don't see it getting any better with cinematics or single player was never that great in the first 2...It will be strictly made for Multi-player enjoyment so they'll focus more on that than single player....but it will still be a good game for a console FPS.

 Metal Gear Solid  on the other hand we all know has a in-depth storyline and great cinematics...we all know they visuals should be absolutely amazing along with the sound. It will probably win game of the year or be in that category along with halo 3 of course but if anything will put it above the edge it will be multiplayer. If they add some fun multiplayer or crap any sort of decent multiplayer with maps and extras they can add later this game will recieve probably a 9.8-10 from gamespot...without any multiplayer this game will get around a 9.5-9.6  either way this game will get above a 9 and so will halo and they both will be a MUST have title for both systems...Im just waiting to see if MGS will add multiplayer cause if it does seriously look at halo 3 cause MGS just took over the game of the year award if so.

Halo 3 will score 9.6 at least and mgs4 will score a 9.4 9.5 tops. Thats my prediction.

but who cares about these games haha im waiting for my damned MLB 07 the show for my ps3 because MLB 2k7 sucks gameplay wise lol....I dont care if the show is a tad less graphical I just want my gameplay back haha.

But ya I guarantee MGS 4 will score higher than Halo 3 though because MGS 4 will be like a poster said above if anything this will be like the 360's gears of war....it will revolutionize the system to a new hype and people will be like "OH MY GOD" i must get that game...this game is going to be a "must" pre-order for any PS3 owner you won't be seeing this in any store for a month or 2 after release. If it keeps to it's release date which it looks like they are this will be a real plus for the PS3 during the holidays as well even though I don't think any sony fan is worried about the PS3 with HOME and all the goodies coming sooner than later.....and not to mention the almost record breaking sales in the UK ...ya I don't think the PS3 is going anywhere.

Halo 2 originally scored a 9.1, but when the hate mail (comments) poured in, I think they caved.

I did think Echoes would sell more than it did, I gave too much credit to gamers having good taste. However, I don't think I ever said it would outsell Halo 2.

I was wrong about Echoes outscoring Halo 2 (heh, it happens, I can't read the reviewers mind), but I think Echoes was scored down for the wrong reasons, mainly because the Gameplay basics were almost exactly like those of the original. But why would Retro mess around too much with the formula for a Masterpiece like the original. In the end, they should have taken some more risks, but Echoes still turned out to be a great game.
