Halo 3 vs UT3 (read whole post)

Halo 3 for single player, UT3 for multiplayer.

I would agree with that. Who buys an unreal tournament game for the single player? Unreal series multiplayer experience is just so freakin insane. I laugh when people complain that Unreal's MP is too fast for them (i.e. they suck at it). Mods are gonna be great also. imo, most people that say Halo Mp > UT3 have only played halo and have never touched an Unreal game.

even UT2k4 is > then all the halos.

God I love UT 2k4...I suck at it, but I love it (Shock Rifle = Epic Win)

I heard the mods for UT3 are gonna be able to be played on PS3, is this true?

i agree, it's the game that i come back to every time i get bored with another multiplayer game. it's the game that both is the most fun and most frustrating to me.

I think i can still play CSS 10 years from now! that game just never gets old, hell there are still people playing CS 1.6

UT3 has probably been in production for a long time as well. Also what features does Halo 3 have that UT3 doesn't,

I dunno...

People still play UT2k4... and the mods on UT3.. just make it uneneded... I know Halo 3 Forge, blah blah blah... But how much can you get of dropping blocks on buddies and driving ramps... etc... The mods definitely feel more... needed than.. Forge... or whatever.

I will probably play UT3 on the PS3 a lot more than the Halo on the 360

I don't think you really understand the flexibility of Forge. Perhaps you could play other peoples modes once you buy the game yourself! Then get some inspiration for your own game-modes. ;)

I can see a lot of peoplemaking cool Halo 3 movies. Also Forge allows you to create your own game types and layouts and save them and share it with other people on XBL. :D

UT3 is going to have a much more diverse multiplayer feature-wise than Halo 3 will.

Halo 3 is only adding more because it's playing catch-up.

first of all, companies have more than one "team" so its possible to work on more than one product at a time.. first of all, EVEN WITHOUT ur avatar and sig, its clear that ur a big halo fanboy, and just like the typical halo fanboys u have nothing to support ur claims

also, realistically.. halo will never be better than unreal tournament, halo is just a rip off of unreal tournament( a dull and slow version, except they added a storyline).. halo is probably the most overrated game in history, people think its this "almighty" amazing fps, yet PC first person shooters beat it in every single area, the halo online community is just full of 10 year olds and is actually a really sad case.. This is without considering that its probably one of the easiest FPS ive ever played (lol its so easy to be good at that game, try playing counterstrike 1.6 (no not source, source is another easy one, though its still harder than halo))
