Maybe all the games combined but name a single PC game that is as anticipated or hyped as Halo 3. When Blizzard announces Diablo 3 or Starcraft 2, all hell will break loose. ...but they aren't announced...Halo 4 would counter anyway since we're talking hypotheticals... Yeah, but the level of anticipation for those two titles is already huge, and there's been no official word. I love Halo, but those 2 franchises would definitely beat Halo out on the Hype meter. I don't think so...When those games are announced, PC gamers will all rejoice but when a Halo game is announced, EVERYONE has something to say, good or bad. People actually come out in droves just to prematurely bash it. That will not happen for those PC games so the all-around "buzz" is far greater for Halo. You underestimate the PC gamer community.

that pwns halos hype. they made a freaking movie to advertise SMB3 (its named the wizard for our younger readers) I dont see them making a movie to advertise halo 3.
I think halo 3 will be more hyped once we get to see some finished gameplay stuff. Around the release of the beta things will probably get nasty on the boards.

Graphically yes, gameplay no. ROFL. And what may I ask is Halo 3 going to do that is so impressive gameplay-wise? Have you not watched the Crysis vids. The gameplay is going to be sick.
Far more excited about the Half-Life 2 Blue Box coming to the 360 than Halo 3. Just not a particularly impressive game series IMO, but meh, to each their own.
