[QUOTE="GunSmith1_basic"] actually, halo 2 has been well eclipsed already. Who says this, not me but gamespot. http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/halo2/index.htmlGamer556
Where exactly in that review does it say Halo 2's online system has been surpassed? I challenge you to name one game that has outdone Halo 2's matchmaking and party system since it's release (other than Halo 3, of course).
from the review "The multiplayer side is fun, too, but all of it feels overshadowed. The PC has more than its fair share of amazing shooters that blow Halo 2 away in every possible way, making this one best suited for Halo fans that want an easy way to play custom maps". The answer is pretty much every multiplayer online gamesince last year at lasthave surpassed halo 2 by learning from its examplewoah dude....y do u have all those links? u been stalking this guy?

lol it's not like dude had to dig for those threads. This guy creates new threads like every 5 minutes, so most of them are within the first couple of pages.

True..but you can view anyones forum post history by going to their profile and clicking contributions and then forum posts:)
Yeah okay keep telling yourself that. And Super Smash Brothers Brawl won't last as long as Melee. These are the consoles best multiplayer games and have the largest fanbases.Blackbondsmash bros is one of a kind though. Maybe I'm just not a big halo fan, but it all just seems like a well made FPS. If a betterFPS comes along then halo has lost most of its appeal already
I've already played 1/4 the number of Halo 3 matches in the past 3.5 weeks as I did Halo 2 matches in the last 3 years. I'm probably about the equal for total time in campaign mode.
Halo 3 has definitely got legs, IMO.

I'm in the same boat as this guy.
I played more games in the Halo 3 beta than I did in Halo 2 overall.
Pfft. As far as I'm concerned, Halo 3 will last much longer than Halo 2 did, at least for me, because I think Halo 3 is more fun than Halo 2. Halo 3 may not be the best online shooter nowadays, but few games have really surpassed it, at least as far as consoles are concerned.
Halo 2 didn't last me 2-3 years. After I solved the story mode about 10 times through, and had my fill of getting modded and putting up with casual burnout **** that make up the bulk of the Halo 2 online community, I moved on.
I'd like to go into further detail about the Halo 2 community but I would break every rules in the GS TOS outline and probably force them to create a few new rules then they would have never thought necessary.
