Plus the same repetitive nature of the game will drastically annoy fans of the original and soon enough people will just ignore Halo and remember it for what the series really is - A One Hit Wonder, much in the same vain as the Baha Men's "Who Let the Dogs Out" and the original Rocky film.

Resistance is the Halo killer for this generation of gaming. No doubt about it.

Halo: Combat Evolved. Or rather - Combat DeEvolved. That should be the slogan that Microsoft should run with for the latest in its One Hit Wonder trilogy - Halo 3.

Now don't get me wrong. Halo was a good game, although a little over rated, and fulfilled itself as the only official X-Box game worth buying the console for (although it came out on PC! Bad move). It developed tactical shooting and developed a good fanbase for those interested in that kind of thing. Thats weird how a five year old game is so much better then some generic FPS released by Sony titled as a 'Halo killer.' IMO, Halo 3 will be the best game ever made. Bungie admitted that they screwed up with Halo2. They said themselves that the multiplayer was horrible in comparison to Halo 1, which is true. They also said that they didn't have enough time to finish the ending. They said that they rushed it and didn't put the time into it that they put into Halo 1. But they say that Halo 3 will get alot more tender loving care, and that it will be the best of the trilogy. The fact that they admit that Halo 2 was a disaster on so many levels makes me believe them. They say that they are taking the time to perfect Halo 3 in every way, just like they did Halo 1. I can't wait to play it. I can tell you now, it will be just about the only game that I play for a very long time after it is released.-GeordiLaForge-
