Yes, grats to MS on that. However, it was still very far from first place, and with Nintendo now taking that first place position, I don't see it being given up with the current trends in gaming.

I do , the ps2 didnt get to 100 million bringing in people who wanted to play Fitness games and wii channel . This whole gimmick has gotten old to most of the hardcores and after this winter the wii is in for a typical Nintendo 8 month drought in which

360 will be releasing GTA4 which will probably push about 4-5 million 360's alone and a stellar year

Are you trying to say that you would rather have more sales for your console than better games. I have a 360 and a Wii and the Wii is pretty much a paperweight. The 360 has good game AA-AAA come out almost every month. The wii has a good game like every 4 months or so. Its not a consolation prize to have better games.

Umm and Im betting that a great majority of those who own a Wii owned a 360 before it, so its not like people are choosing the Wii over the 360!

Cheaper price didn't help the GameCube over the PS2 and Xbox. Price helps, but it's not the sole reason.

I never owned a 360 before purchasing the Wii, and I doubt a "great majority" have.

No one is happier with a console that has crap games but has sold more systems, but I, for one, am happy with a system that provides the titles I love to play like Zelda, Metroid, and the dozen other first party Nintendo games.

Maybe I don't like the games coming out on the Xbox? Just because a reviewer gives it an AAA doesn't mean I like it.

a non videogame company who also has 50 billion in the bank ,superiorhardware and superior on-line service and can only manage to sell 25 million xbox's worldwide = LAUGHABLE .the sega saturn sold more than xbox worldwide and so did the nintendo 64 ,and we all thought that those 2 were failures ,what does that make the original xbox ?? = a CATASTROPHE

Halo 3 can only sell so much 360's ,but MS is has the consumers scared of purchasing a 360 due to overheating issues w/ the system and it shows on lagging xbox 360 sales

Think...All gamesystems have there own gimmick to make sales. What do you think Live or Home is. Well they may be cool they are a gimmick just like the Wiimote to make sales. All companies have gimmicks to say other wise is ignorance.
