I'm going to have give the game another shot.

Haven't played it in months.

I guess it is better to have the community divided between 2 games unlike 100% of the 360 community playing COD.

After the balance patch, a month ago, the game has become much better to play.

That user is taking about the weapon tuning/map update that nerfed the DMR and tweaked almost all of the loadout weapons in this game and some power weapons like the saw.This update released on june 3rd.This update also changed things around in one dlc map and most of the on disc maps.

I played alot but once my Elite gave up the ghost I wasn't gonna buy another just for Halo4. Not worth it. I'd much rather save my money for next generation.

It's still a DMR/BR fest, but I would say that's simply because that's what everyone is comfortable with. It really seems to have nothing to do with the power of the Light Rifle or Carbine because both of those can be just as dominant.

The bolt shot has seemingly been nerfed for a long time though.

What I really want to know is did they add user made forge maps to BTB in Halo 4? Some of my favorite maps in Reach were the user made maps for BTB.

I wouldn't say the SAW is overpowered all things considered. I mean it IS a power weapon. It's supposed to be good, but so are just about every other power weapon in the game.

Blackout was the most amazing version of that map :(

Well.....I did love playing SWAT, and Shotty Snipers on Blackout. Those were some of the best times I had in Halo 3, and Halo in general

I'm convinced that the storm rifle is, and has always been better than the AR in Halo 4.

Nobody ever seems to use it though.

The Light Rifle needs a map like Sand Trap, or Avalanche. The Carbine is awesome though.
