This new trailer shows what Halo 5 is all about. Got to be one of the best trailers I've seen in a game in a long time.

Well, i see and hear Nathan Fillions so it is a must buy for me. I love me some Nathan Fillion. Captain Mal for lyfe. The trailer itself is pretty awesome too. Definitely the game i picking up when i get an Xbox One later this year.

Definitely a buy from me. I wasn't sold on the trailer, but some more Nathan Fillion is okay in my book.

Halo has never been a very mature title with little sexuality, profanity or gore. Having it be the same rating as say, Gears of War, is quite ridiculous.

I know I'm really psyched for the game after the Beta. This trailer was well done, though a little over the top on action lol.

What the f*ck was the point of Chief when these four (as seen in the trailer lol) are facerolling covenant? What the hell did i just watch? This looked incredibly stupid. Also, the game is now rated T. The chick with pink armor is also very well camouflaged in snow, great stuff...

Someone on NeoGaf is saying the models are in game engine. Interesting. I'm pumped. Damn I'm going to be busy this holiday.

Well that was exciting. Cool to see these Spartans cutting through the enemy like that, got Avengers vibes from it, but it seemed so fast and so... exaggerated.

I loved this look and feel to the cinematics in Halo 4.

Still, I'm psyched for Halo 5: Guardians. It's looking stellar and I'm planning to actually devote time into the online on this one.

I am hyped....I like 343, they are talented and have done some nice work......minus the MCC multiplayer disaster, which I believe they outsourced? Anyway everything else with the MCC was brilliant and I really liked Halo 4.....day one for me.

I can't wait and I have mine pre-ordered already. Not much longer now till the king is back.

it feels like they don't know what to do with the story anymore. quite sad really. I used to love this franchise for that.

He didn't commit treason, Chief and Blue Team went AWOL and Locke and his team are trying to find out why, that's why the entire moniker of the game is "Hunt the Truth"

You say that don't know what to do with the story but you couldn't even do 30 seconds of research, and for the record 343 has done a way better job of expanding the Halo universe and implementing the Halo EU than Bungie ever did, when Bungie was working on Halo they never implemented anything from the novels or comics or any Expanded universe material, 343 is doing the exact opposite.

So they gonna release cutscenes every week up to launch? That's one way to remind people the game exists.

What a terrible troll, at least put some effort into it.

The game is going to be one amazing roller-coaster ride going by that trailer, I cannot wait.

While I am sure I would have more excitement if I had an X-Bone, I just find it hard to get excited for Halo these days. I feel like I have just gotten fatigued on the franchise. Even with Halo 4 being surprisingly great and having a multi-player component that was at least attempting to get to Halo 3 levels of fun, I ended up barely playing the game.

Definitely think the series is better off in 343's hands though. Think Bungie has proven themselves to be quite shit and am truly of the opinion they lucked out with Halo.

Why do games love to make trailers that are nothing like how the game actually plays?

Yeah. not really feeling it. It'd be cool if that was all in game but it's pretty obviously not.

I'm hyped, but also curious as to where this story is going to go. Day 1 purchase for me.

While I think the game itself is going to be excellent, I don't see that cinematic as a positive reflection of and for the game. It was unrealistic in the context of Halo, it was like watching the Sunset Overdrive trailer with a Halo mask on it, for that game it was great but for Halo this bothers me.

Violence (gore) in Halo has been lessening every iteration since Halo 2.

I don't think blood splatters on the wall no longer account for M-rated gore. Men and women shooting covenant, all in power suits does not merit a M rating imo. Besides, according to the MSRP, blue "monster juice" isnt the same as blood. Times have changed.

But the trailer looked amazing. Chief might have a problem on his hands with these guys.
