So, do lemmings still think Halo 3 will obliterate other software sales this holiday? Most Mario platformers (except SMS) outsold Halo and Halo 2. Who says Super Mario Galaxy won't outsell Halo 3? Wii is going to surpass 360 sales by August or September and have a bigger fanbase.

For the record, I personally prefer console FPS controls to PC controls. Why? Because it's not important to me whether I have the pinpoint accuracy of a mouse (which, when you think about it, is a little cheap anyway); I'd rather be comfortable, and I find using a controller a much more enjoyable experience. This isn't a big deal, but I just thought I'd mention it.

Secondly, while I don't think most rational people would say that Wii/PS2/PS3 console sales will grind to a halt when Halo 3 comes out, are you really that delusional to think that Halo 3 won't make a huge impact on Xbox 360 sales, and thus at least somewhat adversely impact sales of other consoles? No matter how you spin your numbers, Halo is a gigantic series, and Halo 3 is probably the most hyped game of all time. First fanboys try to claim that Crackdown was/is a bestseller due to the Halo beta, and then they try to say Halo isn't that big of a series? Which is it? Halo 3 might not ever sell 95 billion copies, but it shouldn't surprise anyone if it outsells all the games that come out this year. That in of itself would be a feat.

You get the idea. Halo 2 sold over 2 million overnight. But it took almost 3 years to sell 5 million more. Halo's popularity is grossly exaggerated and overrated. GeOW has already sold 3.98 million in 6 months. It is catching up to your precious Halo lemmings! Like it or not, GeOW is going to become as popular with lemmings as Halo is.

So, do lemmings still think Halo 3 will obliterate other software sales this holiday? Most Mario platformers (except SMS) outsold Halo and Halo 2. Who says Super Mario Galaxy won't outsell Halo 3? Wii is going to surpass 360 sales by August or September and have a bigger fanbase.

*Waits patiently for lemmings to come in and say that teh Halo 3 will destroy everything in its path* :lol:
