According the the gamertag the OP provided he only played 5 games anyway and his total playtime was under 60 minutes.
And he only won one game, and got a total of 7 kills with grenades and the AR between all five matches.
It honestly seems like he didn't even attempt to adapt to the game.

It totally ruins it when youre having a duel with someone, and youre trying to outsmart each other, you get the upper hand on the guy finally, then he pulls his block BS, at which point his friend comes over and kills you... Teabagging begins. It sounds to me that he was using team work. It was 2v1 any way, block has nothing to do with it

I'm a huge Halo CE fan. Halo CE is what drove me to play the other halos. I saw all the details the beta was going to offer and I thought, Awesome they're going back to the Halo CE formula with some improvements. Once I played the beta i was utterly disappointed.

My only problems with halo reach is that the map design is sooo boring, and I hate the new look and the dimmed color pallet. I loved how vibrant and in your face halo 3s graphics were, and this is trying to look more like gears. We have enough games that look like that already

Ranking sytsems give far more incentive to play the games MP...Why do you think they would implement it otherwise? To make it worse?
The BC2 ranking system was excellent and unlocking new weapons gadgets are a huge driving force behind getting squad resupplies, squad heals etc..That particular system helped make BC2 more of a team game and thus it has unrivalled FPS multiplayer...
As for the Reach system, I found it very exciting moving up levels and unlocking new Armor permutations.
And anyway how could a leveling system detract from the games experience..If you don't like it, just ignore it, plain and simple...

While everyone is entitled to his/her opinion, some opinions expressed here are literally so far off base as to be null and void. By the way, I am a rediculous CE fan who played half the campaign yesterday...9 years after launch lol. Let me show you:
*kill does not require full AR clip on a Spartan...you now need to burst your shots for accuracy...rather successful attempt to address Halo 3 issue of spamming AR and running in for a melee
*the new pistol is INCREDIBLE in a decent player's hand...it's not quite the God weapon it was in CE but that's intentional. By the way, if you bothered reading updates from Bungie they already addressed a hitmap detection bug on the spartan (and maybe Elite) model's in regards to registering headshots...congratulations you are playing a Beta
*melee has already been changed for final game...you are playing a Beta...the delay between melee hits has been increased and will be locked in at first strike removing shields and second hit killing
*the opinion that the game is "faster now" is literally wrong. Literally 1000s of reviews have been posted on Bnet and MlgPro about player movement speed. Almost across the board, the opinion is (including that of many professional players) that player movement speed on spartans is too slow and that people want faster movement about maps. They want it returned to previous Halos. Also, straffing speed is a little slow as well as it makes that strategy less effective.
*yeah...about loadouts being "useless"...at this point I almost can't take your opinion seriously at all. Armor lock alone is so incredibly powerful it's rediculous. There are so many powerful applications such as anti-vehicle, flag defending, rocket repulsion, plasma stick then lock down, etc as to be over-powered probably. Evade for elite's is brilliany as long as it gets tweaked with regards to sword and gravity hammer abuse. Sprint is brilliant. Jetpack is fun and silly...won't probably be used in competitive play but it's fun none the less. Invis is probably the most controversial as it is because it is either "over-powered or under-powered"...useless is definately the wrong word.
*on the jetpack...good luck using it on most maps against a skilled, precision weapons team. It's basically lights you up with a giant arrow saying "snipe me in the face." If anything right now, becuase the removal of map based powerups such as invis and overshield, map domination from a topographic point of view is more important than previous games. I do hope we will see the return of some sort of map based powerup to incentivize map movement.
*comment on all weapons being "terrible" is too broad and wrong to really comment on. If you believe a "good" weapon is a return to the god weapon BR of halo 3 or pistol of Halo CE then you are out of luck. Bungie has repreatedly stated they DO NOT want another BR/pistol. There is a huge, rich weapon sandbox that they want people to use. By the way, the comment on the DMR, pistol and NR being the same gun makes you look less than intelligent. They all behave significantly differently...with myself prefering the NR at the moment with it's less prevalent bloom.
Bungie themselves have stated this game is NOT Halo 4...it's Halo Reach taking place before any of the other games with a totally new vibe to it. I'm all for this. If you fancy yourself a hardcore, competitive gamer...which your post nullifies...there are a plethora of amazing posts at mlgpro from some of the best players on earth about how a few subtle tweaks in custom options (4sk, slight increase in run speed/jump speed) can make this the best competitive Halo to date.
The problem is, that most of these Halo fans were just too young to have played Halo: CE to the full extent, and appreciate its value to gaming. Most of them were introduced to Halo 2 on Xbox Live, and most likely have spent most of their Halo gameplay on Halo 3, hence why you get so many hate comments on fans from day one. Halo: CE came out a long time ago. About 8 years ago. And if most Halo players today are under 17, well, there lies your problem. A serious fan can't deny the fact that Halo has gone downhill from the day that Halo 2 launched. First, since Halo: CE was a SP centric game, the SP in HAlo 2 was horrific, even though I give Bungie credit to trying so desperately to redeem themselves with Halo 3. Most of us know that the SP in Halo: CE, and its AI was far superior to Halo 2, and Halo 3/ODST. So there lies the frustration with Halo 3/Reach with me. As someone who's grown up with a Rocket launcher that has no guidance system (Halo) to super auto-aim in HAlo 2 (lock on?). You know that Halo went from catering from gamers to, kiddie gamers. Just a fact. And now that Halo has lost its magic, they are desperate. I was truly hoping Halo Reach would have been that raw Halo experience. But as it turns out... It's just adding bunch of garbage, instead of going back to improve on the formula that made Halo great. Just adding a bunch of mediocre ideas doesn't make a good game better. Why did SF4 go back to a more simpler system? Why is MW2 hated so much more than COD4?

As for the AI in CE compared to H2/H3/ODST being better, I take issue with that.
Sensibly speaking, How could a launch title on a last-gen platform have superior AI to its 3 successors. There is absolutely no logic to it.
I completely and utterly disagree..While the AI in CE was praised for being top of its game at the time, its just gotten better and better, NOT the other way around..Look up the Bungie ViDocs and see what they've done with AI on previous games and what they're doing for Reach..
THEN come up with a logical statement...

The leveling up you do in Reach isnt the Ranking System per'sed. Its more of a meter of how much time you've spent on the game. The real ranking system in Halo Reach is hidden in the back of the game so match you with oponents of similar skill level as you. -Jet packs remove any real strategy from the maps since you can just fly wherever you want to go.
-Block is also ridiculous. I find it preposterous for any FPS to have an "invincible" button. It totally ruins it when youre having a duel with someone, and youre trying to outsmart each other, you get the upper hand on the guy finally, then he pulls his block BS, at which point his friend comes over and kills you... Teabagging begins.
-Overall I think the weapons in this game are TERRIBLE... Plasma grenade launcher, regular grenade launcher, focus rifle(aka laser gun), are all a complete joke. The marksman rifle, needler rifle, and pistol are essentially the same gun in 3 different forms( all are single fire, medium range, weak).
-All these new game types suck. I just wanna play CTF's and slayer.
-New MW ripoff ranking system sucks also.
They should really just call this game Halo Warfare, or Call of Halo.DevilMightCry

The problem is, that most of these Halo fans were just too young to have played Halo: CE to the full extent, and appreciate its value to gaming. Most of them were introduced to Halo 2 on Xbox Live, and most likely have spent most of their Halo gameplay on Halo 3, hence why you get so many hate comments on fans from day one. Halo: CE came out a long time ago. About 8 years ago. And if most Halo players today are under 17, well, there lies your problem. A serious fan can't deny the fact that Halo has gone downhill from the day that Halo 2 launched. First, since Halo: CE was a SP centric game, the SP in HAlo 2 was horrific, even though I give Bungie credit to trying so desperately to redeem themselves with Halo 3. Most of us know that the SP in Halo: CE, and its AI was far superior to Halo 2, and Halo 3/ODST. So there lies the frustration with Halo 3/Reach with me. As someone who's grown up with a Rocket launcher that has no guidance system (Halo) to super auto-aim in HAlo 2 (lock on?). You know that Halo went from catering from gamers to, kiddie gamers. Just a fact. And now that Halo has lost its magic, they are desperate. I was truly hoping Halo Reach would have been that raw Halo experience. But as it turns out... It's just adding bunch of garbage, instead of going back to improve on the formula that made Halo great. Just adding a bunch of mediocre ideas doesn't make a good game better. Why did SF4 go back to a more simpler system? Why is MW2 hated so much more than COD4?
Too much flash, not enough substance, and character.
Now you can claim that all these extra features are cool, and add great replay value, and to the gameplay. But does it really?

I'm 16 and Halo: Combat Evovled was the first Halo game I ever played in 2007 and I was blown away by it. While the campaign in Halo 2 wasn't the greatest it was still decent and had its moments. Halo 3 was spot on other than Cortana on the harder difficulties. There was rarely a dull or bad momement in Halo 3.
