Microsoft's reported plans to converge Xbox One and PC.

As part of a Microsoft plan that is reportedly codenamed "Project Helix," the company's games--including the Halo franchise--will come to console and PC.

This seems like a win win for gamers.

Halo 6 has an amazing foundation with 5 to build upon, so if it's on PC, awesome.

Halo, great franchise. If MS finally want to jump into bed with PC gamers after all these years, they should NOT release Halo 5 on PC because it sucks great big hairy donkey balls. Worst single player experience not just in Halo but in ANY FPS I have played in the last 10 years. It's digital excrement. Leave it on the Xbox One where at least the MP is giving people enjoyment.

Loved Halo 1 2 and 3, thought ODST was decent and Reach was pretty good. I'm down to play 4 and 5.

Why didn't you lems buy the holy trio? MS had to see Halo 5 fall of the top charts after only 4 days and Forza 6 didn't even make top 10 on NDP the month it lauched. Guess MS said "f*** it, I guess we'll move on to PC".

Cool, the more the merrier. I dont expect this to happen anytime soon though, and I'm sure they still would have tons of kinks to work out. Pretty sure though(just my opinion) that Halo 5 will Stay on XOne because the original plan was not to bring it to PC, and I remember Phil S. saying how he wouldn't want to go back on that. But Halo 6 sounds like a possibility.

Honestly, I was hoping they weren't going to do this. As a PC gamer, this is the death of Xbox to me.

Xbox 360 was the last Xbox worth buying.

The bright side of this is it makes PC's monstrous library even more insane.

If this is true that must mean that sales of Cross platform titles like Killer Instinct and Quantum Break were more profitable on their store than Xbox One which really is pretty sad.

I actually want the previous games on PC. Halo 3 up to Reach.

I really hope they bring over The Master Chief Collection, Reach & Halo 5, they need to bring every main series game over to PC if they're going to do this.

This should help the decent, but not incredible, 343 increase their sales and exposure as they haven't hit the highs that Bungie was able to accomplish. This will help Halo sales and maybe the brand as well as it's taken a huge dip in popularity over the last 5 years under 343.

Unfortunately, this move while increasing sales for Halo and helping get Win adoption higher, will also affect the Xbone's exclusive status and will turn PC gamers interested in an Xbone for those exclusives into buying Halo on PC instead.

Those Halo games you played were Bungie Halo 90+ metascoring games (save for ODST which was a side meal).

The 80+ metascoring Halo 4 and Halo 5, the ones you missed, were made by new Halo Developer 343.
