I rough console launch is hard to recover from. Sony barely recovered from the PS3. Had it not been for mid-late gen support, the PS3 would have tanked the Playstation brand. Can MS be great a few years down the line? Of course, but will people be willing to just jump on after two or three years of almost nothing? Idk...

@Zero_epyon: I really doubt that it’s going to take two to three years for good stuff to come out for the Xbox Series X/S though. Halo: Infinite is probably just going to be a year away from the console’s launch. I see no reason myself why Microsoft can’t do the same as the PS3 did and eventually do well for themselves. They’ve certainly acquired a solid array of developers to do that with.

@BenjaminBanklin: I’m pretty sure that both Microsoft Flight Simulator and Gears Tactics have been announced to have a console version coming out as well. Wouldn’t surprise me at all to see one if not both of these games shown running on the XSX sometime soon.
