I think Ultima is the most revolutionary series ever. It basically created digital RPGs, open-world games, introduced moral decisions, complex interactivity, non-linear gameplay, the MMORPG genre, etc. What did Halo brought that didn't existed before?

Ok I will admit. I LIKE Halo BUT only the first halo. Halo: Combat Evloved had an amazing story as good as Half-life. It was back when graphics didn't matter and games had no online with 12 year old **** screaming down mics going "OMG HOW DID HE KILL ME GGRRR LAGG OMG!!!"

If you really are a true Halo fan you would get Halo: Custom Edition mod for Halo: Combat evolved. Yes I was wrong Halo was ONE mod. I forgot to mention it before because I was annoyed at the stupidity of this troll thread. I was also speaking mainly about Halo 3 as well and Halo: Combat evolved slipped my mind completely.

But still I've enjoyed the Hald-life series for than Halo 3 (onwards) Halo2 and combat evolved were good games, anything past that I hate. There you go, I enoy both games (sort of) happy now? :)

It has alot of nice guns, and the best story, It's the best series ever created.

I give this thread a 6/10. Not bad but could use better execution in the first post. I think with a little refinement these satire/sarcastic threads could be great. Its a nice change from the usual bash threads. Oh and before I forget, Lazer swords are for ****.

Halo was the first game that you could throw grenades without equipping them. That been used in nearly every FPS. Halo also has some of the finest level design. People now days always need some gimmick to make a game 'innovative' when level design innovation is Halos strongest innovation

I think you're wrong. The guns have been kinda played out.. since they're in every halo game... with exception of the new couple of weapons each title brings. The stories really aren't all that. They're good, but not all they're cracked up to be. And also. The only game that was revolutionary was CE, and only revolutionary for consoles.
