[QUOTE="Dark-Pain"][QUOTE="Fawlcon_Pawnch"][QUOTE="Dark-Pain"]He deserved it. People like that don't deserve to live. Imatating a game how dumb. Skipping school was even dumber. He had no purpose in life he wasn't going to add to society only waste resourses. He deserved it. He should have played halo on xbox instead. Burnsmiesta

Waits for what? People like that that are stupid enough to play with a real gun should not live. People who waist time playing games and skipping shchool desrve this. People should add to socirty and make things better. This kid waS A WASTE AND DESERVED TO DIE. Human's are pathetic.
No I think his bad spelling and grammar is, especially considering he is lecturing people on stupidity. It should be waste not waist and humans should not have an apostrophe.
I actually somewhat agree, he doesnt really deserve sympathy. I feel bad and all.. But... He shot himself acting like master chief, while other people get shot saving their squad in Iraq. One person dies for the lifes of others, While the other dies in an alternate reality.Game_Druggy
So now we judge which death is "worthier"?
Come on.
A 11 kid shooting himself because he was obsesses with a videogame and we start making comparission of different way of diying? Are you serious????
This death is a tragic event, as every death is. And, as any tragedy, the least that can be expected is some respect (and yes, starting comparing ways of dying is unrespectful).
It was an horrible accident, and yes, it was mostly his parent's fault (who will never rcover of this), and as that:
1. It shouldn't be discussed on a video games forum
2. It shouldn't be compared with other ways of dying
3. Deserves ALL our respect

:|Is there a reason you are being so overbearingly morose or is that just the way you are?
Yes there is a reason. Kid dies of stupidity and it ends up on the news. Why should have sympathy for a person like that? Maybe for a person who died saving others yes that would be sad. But not this. My ideologies are diffrent.

I have no problem with the theory of Darwinism but the kid was only 11. I would lay the blame at his parents door for allowing him to have the gun.
:(
Bet certain people are gonna be using this as material to smear those darn violent videogames as usual.

Jack Thompson is not going to do **** about it... LOL... Anyway its the parents fail completely... They knew the kid would skip school to play with it and instead of doing something about that they left the gun loaded some where the kid could get to... People like that don't deserive a child in the first place... stuff like this should not happen...
I can agree to an extent with people saying he/his family do not deserve sympathy... but come on, he didnt deserve to die. :?Ninja-Hippo
I agree
I mean it's an 11 year old kid that didn't know better. It was an accident.
the parents should have known better to let a kid have acces to a loaded weapon.
I dont really blame games much for this, i blame the parents.
I mean he was skipping shcool. If his parents did their job he wouldn't be. But letting an 11 year old child use a gun is plain stupid. And on his own, something was bound to happen.

Id say giving your 11 year old kid any kind of gun is downright idiotic, with training or not.Let alone buying him Halo 3....
Or let him wag school to play the game.
Ultimately the kid got the short end of the stick, and for most of the part its the parents ignorance to blame, they are responsible for the kid, however when a child is bought up with the mindset that its ok to 'play' with guns, how does he know any better?Three things:
1. What is an 11 year old kid doing playing Halo?
2. What is an 11 year old kid skipping school?
3. What is an 11 year old kid doing with a gun?
Willy105
My 9-year old brother doesn't go to school and loves Halo.
He wouldn't touch a gun if it was right in front of him.
Really, just keep the weapons away from the kid. It doesn't matter what influences him; any boy is going to think a stick that makes a loud noise and destroys things is cool. In fact, a violent game would probably teach them otherwise. (And I mean, violent. Halo isn't that violent.)
Idiot... What the hell is he doing with a gun, and what the hell is he doing sticking it right next to his head...
I completely agree with Dark_Pain on this matter.

Thats mean, but understandable... I think its the parents fault and they should not have left the gun loaded when they knew the kid played with it... I feel sorry for the kid a little because its not his fault his parents should not have been allowed to have children..

He's 11, not a 5 year old... He knows that a gun will kill him, and secondly why would he point the gun on his own head and pull the trigger. I blame the child more than the parents...
I agree he should of known better than to do something like that, even at such a young age. But he didn't deserve too die.Idiot... What the hell is he doing with a gun, and what the hell is he doing sticking it right next to his head...

Dude it was an accident. I wasnt the smartest person with the most common sense at 11, and I highly doubt he was either.
Everybody needs to cut this poor child a break. We all make mistakes, and his just happened to be life ending... and for some reason people acting like this kid deserves no sympathy. Give him a break, it's a sad situation.
It's the parents fault, not his.
... was that the kid that used to make weapons out of cardboard and crap?Lyphe2k
Wow thats totally like my little brother... Hes 12 , plays Halo 3 and he makes weapons out of random crap.

Would you really point a gun at your own head? He's 11, he ain't that small. I was 11 about 4 years ago....I don't think he derserves any sympathy... It was purely his fault, Did his parents tell him to point gun at his own head ? Did his parents tell him to pull the trigger? No.

Dude your 15 - 16 years old why fell sympathy for a person your barley older then :?Shouldn't own a gun.
Shouldn't raise morons.
Go go parents.
CreepyBacon
There is no problem with owning a gun... the problem is with how you handle the gun and how the parents handle raising the kid... In this case its the parents fault because the kid was raised in such a poor environment he could not understand that what he was doing was stupid... the parents should have keep the kid in school and keep the gun in a safe place where the kid could not play with unless they were they to supervise it...
Dark-Pain is right, you are wrong. Have a good day.Dalo12345
poor kid...my condolences to his family....fazares
to bad its his parents fault... This would not happen if they would have been real parents... Playing with the gun was a Common pasttime thing for the kid... you would think the parents would be smart enough to keep the gun unloaded or atleast show him right form wrong with a gun..
Is this the same kid who made that video of all the weapons he'd made? Or are people just assuming so?Ninja-HippoI don't think it is.

Trained soldiers sometimes shoot themselves or their squadmates. It's called an accident. Like the story said, he had removed the clip and didnt realise there was a bullet in the chamber.
